GHK-Cu, the pretty blue serum you see in routines, is a carrier signal peptide discovered in the 1970s by Dr. Pickart. GHK-Cu (whose formal ingredient list name is copper tripeptide-1) promotes regular collagen, elastin, proteoglycan, & glycosaminoglycan synthesis, & provides anti-inflammatory & antioxidant responses. I have found it excels the MOST with speeding up of skin healing.🙌🏻
In July 2017, I started emailing with Dr. Pickart about a copper peptide product I bought from Amazon & was concerned about. He turned out to be so incredibly sweet, answered all of my questions & then he offered to send me some of his copper products that he sells through his Skin Biology company (@skinbiologycosmetics). TBH I had come across his website before but it looked a little questionable & was super confusing to navigate😬🤷🏼♀️ so I had written off his products. But after using them for over 6 months, I will definitely purchase replacements of these serums.

🦋3% GHK VIP Luxury Serum
🦋Super GHK-Copper Serum (1% concentration) - I will most likely repurchase this one once I finish the two serums.👍🏻
🦋7% GHK-Cu Accelerant: This Product MUST be diluted (or blended into another product) before use. I haven’t opened up the 7% accelerant bc I am trying to use up the 2 serums first. But my plan is to add it to a hydrating serum like #jordansamuelskin or #jkosmmune
➖WHO MIGHT LIKE THESE?➖
👉🏻If you are acne-prone and tend to pick at your skin, you may want to incorporate GHK-u to benefit from how it speeds up skin healing
👉🏻If you are over 30 & seeing signs of loss of firmness, you may want to incorporate GHK-u because it stimulates the synthesis of collagen and other extracellular matrix molecules.
👉🏻If you have extra sensitive skin, prone to inflammation & irritation, adding GHK-u can help improve the skin’s barrier function
But both are watery serums that absorb quickly in the skin. Both have a faint herbal smell (which comes from fragrance added at the end of INCI 😕).
I use them at night, directly after cleansing and before retinol or other serums. If I use an AHA/BHA that night, I skip the GHK-Cu serum.
