PROGRESS ALERT 😁
A whole year and we both experienced progress differently. Why? Bc one body is different from the next. @anneevanscody became so beautifullyyyyyy swole 😩🙌🏼. I didn't see the difference in these two photos for myself, however, last year when I visited I was 145lbs, softer and larger. This time around, well, I'm 160lbs, stronger, mentally tougher and my body has tightened up wayyyy beyond what I thought I was a year ago. ...
Point I'm trying to make is, STOP looking at the scale!!! I hated that I was gaining weight but at the same time, I've gotten much stronger with my lifts, my form has improved substantially and my awareness for control and instability has improved. I can make changes when I'm regressing and become hopeful when I'm progressing. Growth is beautiful. Trust the process. Trust your body to grow and feeeeeeed it! I went too long starving myself with the belief that I may 'gain weight' and fat if I ate too much. Nonsense. I'm paying the price for it now but I'm progressing now, which matters most. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Live fully. Love uncontrollably. Lift heavy. Eat hearty. And also...Be kind to yourself. 💕
