...And the fact you are screwed for summer if you don't start your weight loss program now!! For 20lbs you are looking at at least 2 months worth of work...and that's if you are super consistent.

Regardless, that need/feeling/desire to lose weight is not going to go away...so the sooner you start the better, otherwise it's just going to be another summer that comes and goes without reaching your goal.

Summer is a great goal! If you start now you can lose enough to feel dramatically different and in a good place to maintain over the summer...and if you are keen, even drop a few more:)

I know poor me right 😝 my point is, life happens and you can very easily go from feeling great to feeling fat and schlumpy and tired...indulging in food and drink, lack of exercise and sleep catches up with you.

For real tho, staying on track with food and water is key to feeling good when going off routine...but easier said than done!

But it can be done...the trick is to stay on track as much as possible so when you do indulge the damage is minimal and you easily maintain feeling good.

When it comes to water, sip rather than guzzle...that way the water doesn't run you so quickly...and then make up for it where and when you can...if you are looking for some quick hydration bring along some coconut water.

Taking a few mins to pack some snacks as lame as that might sound is always a good idea, chances are you are going to be snacking anyway so might as well make it something you feel good about!

Nuts and seeds are easy to keep in the car, throw in an apple or two...or pack some dried fruit like apricots or dates.

If you are looking for some fun stuff visit your local health food store/section like @naturescanada and grabs some fun treats like chips and other snackies that not only taste good but will leave you feeling good.

It's a matter of taking the time and being intune...kinda of like if you ever ate or drank something that made you sick...and just the thought of it still makes you sick 5 years later.

If you just take a few seconds to ask yourself how you will feel before Indulging in crap food or dishing out a huge plate of food...your body will tell you and after a while it will become second nature...and then you can throw out that scale!
