My client @rfechh wasnt exactly out of shape but she also exactly wasnt happy with where she was. Just a few minor changes to her macros and a refocus on strength training allowed her to improve her vtaper, back shoulders, shrink her waist and firm up her glutes and quads back to where she feels her best! Down a total of 4lbs and maintaining!

1) Wide prone leg Curls s.s. to wide leg Extensions 4 sets x 20to20,15to15,15to15,15to15 (not recorded)

2)Barbell squats normal stance warms ups x 10, 8, 8, 5; working sets x 2, 1, 3
Top set 585 was clean. I'm honest when my spotter actually helps and i post failed attempts all the time. Dropped 455 x 3 with no knee sleeves for last set. Back was shot.
3)hack squats narrow stance 4 sets x 10, 10, 8, 7

4)Single leg Kneeling curls s.s. to single leg forward split lunge elevated 3 sets x 10 to 10 each leg back and forth no rest between sets

Walk the line... Heres some real talk for everyone just starting a workout plan to get in shape or stronger or build some muscle so you can look better in a tank top or shirt off at the beach.

You HAVE to be able to attain a borderline level of psychotic euphoria at the gym. The blurry line between pain and pleasure is where you must exist for 90 minutes at a time each time you're at the gym. Yes it burns. Yes it sucks. Yes your body begins to shake, sweat and heart race. And yes, you have to fucking love it. That same stress that stimulates discomfort must also stimulate pleasure for you. Your brain MUST UNDERSTAND there is REWARD IN IT. Without coming to this conclusion you are doomed to fail at fitness as a lifestyle. I promise you. Find the pleasure in your pain, remind yourself EVERY FUCKING WORKOUT that the burn you feel is a direct correlation to the results you want. Therefore I want the pain. Give me the pain. Give me more pain than I think I can handle. Then I will learn to embrace it.

Thank God I found these. I was very upset I had no back shots from that show. But alas.. I guess the universe was saving to show me to amp me up during this off season. Here I am in the first pic Class D open Classic. Back Double Bicep. I weighed in 213 and rehydrated with 3 liters of water to step on stage at 220.

In the second pic Team u I was class C open classic physique weighed in again 212 but on Thursday and prejudging was sat.
I fucked up team u really bad. To be honest I was completely embarrassed. I weighed in Thursday for team u. Prejudging was sat. I cut 15lbs water to make weight. Instead of sticking to the same 3 liters of water I drank last time at Jr usas i figured i had a whole extra day. My dumb ass diet brain told me slam two gallons of water fast as I could from Thursday night to Friday night and stop 12 hours before prejudging to rehydrate my muscles as much as fucking possible, I had a total lapse in judgement. I figured I'd be perfect. I was dead wrong. After cutting 15lbs of water to make weight my body wanted to HOLD ON to everything. 3 liters is about as much as my muscles can hold. I discovered this the hard way. All the additional water stayed right between my muscle and skin and I was TRULY holding water. The first pic shows I know how to get shredded and dry. But manipulating water is a whole other science and I got taught a hard lesson. But now I know beyond a shadow of a doubt EXACTLY how my body handles water and how much I can handle. 3 liters per 24hr period and I wont spill over. This is why it is so important to always rather show up a little flat and SHREDDED versus pushing it trying to fill out to the max. Once you cross that line theres no coming back. I hope I help some of you out there to learn from me.
