Imagine the set up: you’re traveling and you plan to fly back home for less than 24 hours to re-pack your suitcase before continuing on for more travel. In addition, because you have been gone for 3 weeks, you think it’s a good idea to teach 3 yoga classes and get some hours in at work during that 24 hour period. Then, WHAMMIE, your flight is delayed 4 hours reducing your time to an impossible figure. You can either: A) Freak out. Panic. Cry and get upset at everyone causing the delay...including the weather; or B) Follow the rhythm of your breath. Trust that the universe has your back. Look for logical solutions and be grateful for the people that support you and the happy accidents that carry you through. 🤷🏼♀️ The effort you put into either scenario is the same. But the outcomes and your energy are dramatically different! It’s your choice. And by the way, this was no hypothetical situation. I’m describing my day in the airport yesterday! (Check out my stories if you want to see how it went) You see, finding your own seat of presence in the midst of chaos, THAT IS YOGA! Doesn’t matter if you’re on your mat or stranded in some city. The practice continues! I finally got home to NYC at 5am last night. I’m already repacking my suitcase and in 12 hours I’ll be on another plane, this time to Thailand! I’ll be visiting Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Comment below if you have any yoga or tourist suggestions for me to check out while I’m there! #practiceandalliscoming #thisisyoga #travellifestyle .
