The Cancer Treatment Center Bill, among others, aims to manage the psychosocial and rehabilitation needs of cancer patients AND their families and provide programs that include assistance to cancer survivors.

#DidYouKnow

That the proposed Cancer Treatment Center Bill will also house the National Cancer Management Program? This important piece of would-be legislation does not focus on cancer treatment alone but also on scientific research and cancer management as well. One of the objectives of the bill is to promote, encourage, engage, and assist in scientific research on matters related to cancer.

The Cancer Treatment Center Bill will provide for the continued improvement of the Cancer Treatment Center and its facilities, including the training of its personnel, so that the highest professional levels of patient care may be maintained in accordance with the requirements of the DOH.

Let me to take this chance to honor an outstanding father whose memory I will always revere and emulate.
He was an exceptional public servant and community leader who gave his all to the service of his country and the people.

Just as he has inspired me to be the best that I can be, he, too, has touched the lives of many others who to this day cherish his memory. He may be gone but his kindness, charity, and outstanding works for Bataenos and his countrymen live forever.

Happy Father's Day, my dear Father!! You are always in my heart!!! Happy Father's Day everyone! ❤❤❤

The LGBT community still experiences inequality in diverse situations such as the workplace, educational institutions and social establishments. More adversely, members of this community have also suffered hate crimes leading to their loss of dignity - if not their lives - without the protection of a national law such as the SOGIE Equality Bill.

As we observe Pride Month, let us celebrate being true to ourselves and becoming our best selves in our journey towards an inclusive society of law-abiding, productive and happy citizens. I know there are challenges ahead of us but we are getting there. Let us not lose hope. Hand in hand, I know we will reach our common goal.

The saying "there is strength in unity" is true. While lobbying for the SOGIE Equality bill in Congress, I have pleasantly discovered that the desire for equality for the LGBT Community transcends political and ideological differences. This confirms my firm belief that no one, DEFINITELY NOT MYSELF, nor any political party can claim an exclusive hold on LGBT rights. I am not about to tell the more than 100 co-authors of the bill that they can no longer support the bill because they voted in favor of a certain issue or because they belong to a certain party or support the President. I have been told this, but I remain steadfast in my fight for LGBT rights. Why? Simply because I am a member of this community. Nothing more, nothing less.
