If you don't have the time or inclination to forage your own chanterelles, you can get some @kowalskis_markets at their Hennepin, Lyndale and woodbury locations later this that's fresh!!

Mornin'! Will I am digging the cool temps this morning picking some beautiful chanterelles. Next stop will be for lobsters!

You have probably seen this berry in the Minnesota woods. it's more typically green, but red gooseberries are spectacularly sweet and delicious. Go check some out @commodorestpaul and @barleyandvinemn !!

This species of chanterelle is Cantherellus flavus. It is one of at least 5 known species here in Minnesota. Small button mushrooms like these make for some incredibly beautiful and delicious presentations at our clients!

Strange days indeed! OK- not THAT strange. The velvet texture of this species and age of Chicken of the woods guarantees it spectacular tastyness!
