A word to myself: I always thought Instagram is a good platform to write down what I think, because in here, no one knows what do I look like, what do I do, or who I am, but the sole purpose is to share pictures and some brief caption with people. Today, a few things came across my mind and here they are. I always feel, especially these few years, when someone became relatively financially capable of buying/ doing a lot more things than before, they have "unlocked the gates" to a few more options; 4 are the ways I could think of: some people are trying to pursuit the extreme wealthy life and stay high profile; some decided to stay low and enjoy the best out of everything; some are more focused on what they do instead of the need of trying out new and luxurious life style; and some are doing everything they can to help people but also enjoying their lives in the best way possible. I admire and respect ALL of these people!
I am not saying this because I am anywhere near this league, nor I have noticed a change to myself, or really if I give too much crap about these. But I just couldn't understand when someone is nowhere near the state of spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on the things that AREN'T necessities to lives, they always tend to ask more. Not only asking more from themselves, but also push themselves to the wrong mindset: these people would think sharing my(or anyone's) cars on Instagram with or without unveiling my(our) identity(s) is a form of showing off; or worse, it's an excuse of spending money on ourselves instead of spending on them. Totally being not serious here: a good example would be the people asking for iPhone Xs in the DMs. 😂
