I flattened two pieces of minced beef and between them added a cube of smoked cheddar cheese. I then moulded the beef into a burger pattie. I cooked the burger in the oven at 200ย ยฐC for 20 minutes along with some pineapple. The salt came together easily.

Jalapeรฑo Spam and streaky bacon salad

I sliced off a slice of jalapeรฑo Spam and made cubes which I added to some streak bacon strips and then cooked in the oven for 15 minutes at 200ย ยฐC. The salad is just lettuce, celery, spring onions, tomato, avocado, lime zest, lime juice, and a little olive oil.

In my mind footy food involves something fatty, comforting and delicious. I put the two chicken pieces into a frying pan lined with baking paper and put it into a hot oven (200ย ยฐC/400ย ยฐF) for 20 minutes and then bring the temperature down to 150ย ยฐC/300ย ยฐF for a complete cooking time of 60 minutes. In the final 40 minutes I had potato gems with a sprinkling of shredded Coon cheese in the oven too. I garnished for colour with avocado. The chicken was also coated with salt, pepper and chilli flakes.
