Let's get real... Have you ever been in an amazing place and come home feeling like you wish you had more time?
I can't tell you how many times we've made it to our last day of a trip and Meg and I look at each other as we're packing and say, "I wish we had more time!" It’s easy to spend more time than necessary stressing over all the planning, ie: what to do/see/eat, etc., instead of just showing up and choosing to be present. When we do this, not only do we miss out on some of the benefits of a vacation but we miss each other!
We love to get away but in times of stress and going after big things, we can find ourselves not at our best when it comes to communication about things that every couple needs to talk about….jobs, family, finances, sex, emotional connection….
** These conversations are hugely important and, if not done well, can lead to some of the biggest hurts we cause each other. ———————————————————-
One of our main goals at @sustainretreat is for our couples to step away from daily stress and to-do lists, and to step into intentional space to pause and actually SEE each other. ———————————————————-
This past June it happened for our couples in front of the Eiffel Tower and this January it can happen at the Pacific Ocean because SUSTAIN San Diego is a retreat that will do just that... give you and your partner the chance to pause and absorb all the benefits of a luxury vacation, as well as ditch the stress of planning in order to focus on each other and allow your marriage to thrive!
