This beautiful painting on the right was inspired by @jordynstewart ’s exhibition ‘Compulsory Figure’ and was completed yesterday by a young artist from Bedford Public School. We love seeing how our exhibitions can inspire artists to create their own artwork.

Join us today on #givingtuesday to support the Glenn Elliott Memorial Scholarship. With your help our goal is to raise funds necessary to offer an annual scholarship to a local high school graduate pursuing post-secondary education in the visual arts, art history, or French.
Glenn Elliott (1941 - 2017) was a creative and caring man, and a remarkable talent. The Glenn Elliott Memorial Scholarship will honour Glenn's contributions to the visual arts and inspire a new generation of artists to pursue their dreams.
Donations can be made through Gallery Stratford by contacting Angela Brayham at abrayham@gallerystratford.on.ca or 519.271.5271 ext. 222. Or visiting the donation page on our website: www.gallerystratford.on.ca/exhibits/donations

Look at the colour and creativity of these beautiful oil pastel and watercolour paintings done by some preschoolers at the St Mary’s Early Learning Centre yesterday. We love running workshops with young budding artists. The creativity is endless.
It’s never too early to get children involved in the arts! #youngartists #watercolour #abstractpainting

Today, we remember and honour all those incredibly brave people who have lost or risked their lives so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom.

We so enjoyed the engaging, informative and entertaining conversation between Ron Shuebrook and his art dealer, Olga Korper, last night at the gallery. Thanks to those who attended. Their nearly 40 year relationship made for beautiful stories, intriguing dialogues and a number of laughs.
