After six months of an astonishing and dreamy journey the 57th Venice Biennale has come to its end and “ŠamaŠ” is currently being dismantled. Moultaka managed to combine an enchanting visual and architectural sound composition, described as “this visual, acoustic, spiritual, mystical, political unique experience by Nabil El Azan in the L’Orient le Jour Newspaper in 6/12/2017.
Despite the status quo in the region and the various difficulties that the country has been facing. Our belief in Zad’s momentous work is what primarily pushed this exhibition to see the light. The result was more than 54 thousand individuals who purposely visited the exhibition site.
None of this would have been possible without the donors, sponsors and the Beirut /Paris based teams who volunteered financially and passionately in making this project come to life.
We sincerely believe that this project deserves to be exposed to the Lebanese public.
