Strengthening your core is very important. Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen. This leads to better balance and stability, no matter what sport your doing or in daily activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles. Hanging knee tucks (one of my favorites, for getting the V-shape on your lower abdominal) or a more advanced exercise is straight leg raises.
Why throw medicine ball at your abdominal?! It can help you learn to take punches to the stomach as far as breathing out when you get hit and flexing when you get hit (my partner is a professional MMA fighter). Why do burpees?! ABS & some HIIT๐Ÿ’ฆ didn't count the reps or sets. I just took a break when I needed it. Powered by 2 slices of toast w Nutella ๐Ÿฅœ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ (I know it doesn't make any sense y to eat that n go do abs & hitt๐Ÿ˜‚! I was gonna go to the gym & do weights but I couldn't make it.) If u r following me for some time then u know how much I ๐Ÿ’“ chocolate with my โ˜•๏ธ in the mornings! Well I've been out of ๐Ÿซfor few days now & tried to challenge myself to stop with this addiction, but it's clearly not working cuz I've been eating nuttela instead ๐Ÿ™ˆ YUM! I guess it's just part of my flexible diet! My progress might be slower, & it's ok.
I get asked if I take a preworkout, no I don't. I'm not into supplements. My preworkout is oatmeal with frozen berries, chia seeds, cinnamon & drizzled ๐Ÿฏ if I was to workout in the morning. It tastes delicious, & gives me lots of energy.
