I've learned through a long #weightloss and fitness journey that accountability is a must. You are accountable for yourself - and not only does that mean nourishing your body most of the time with good food and getting your workouts in, it also means rest.
It means learning to listen to the signals that your body is telling you that it needs some time off to recoup, or that you're overusing certain areas. As I've increased my overall strength, it's something that's become even more important for me. And yes even on days that I want to bust out a hardcore workout b/c it's my stress relief, I've had to listen to the cues my body are putting out at the time.
That's kinda where I'm at right now. I'm off kilter, hips are locked and my balance is shot. This week I'm making myself accountable for working on mobility and low impact - stretching and resting as needed. What are you keeping yourself accountable for this week??
