Road Closed! Our camp was down that road. And we had to patiently wait for it to clear. Once we’d almost reach Enselweni, we were chased 3km back down the road by a bull elephant. A memorable experience 😬😅 #imfolozigamereserve#elephantsofinstagram
We’re just back from a couple of nights at Enselweni Camp in Imfolozi. My hubby cooked supper on a braai both nights. The first night we were watched the entire time by a hyena in the bushes about 10 m away. The second night we saw him at our verandah door just after we’d finished eating. 😨😅 #imfolozigamereserve#nervewrackingnature#beautifulnature
Closet secrets *I have an almost-out basket in my cupboard. Clothing that I think I may not wear again goes in there for a cooling-off period. If I don’t miss it I know it’s safe to go. I was motivated to be decisive and empty it completely after hearing again about how @nationchangers01 Business program of selling 2nd hand clothes is changing lives. The first bag of clothes is given to the individual setting up shop. They sell the clothes, and from the proceeds are able to buy another bag to sell and so on. * I have been very inspired by @mariekondo and fold many of my clothes the way she teaches - even the contents of that almost-out basket. Quite therapeutic. 😀
Today is the 2 year anniversary of my husband and I being grandparents. What an incredible privilege and joy! Cutting and wrapping stuff this morning for delightful Daniel. Looking forward to singing Happy Birthday to him later today!
