It's maple season and all I can think of... are maple treats! These incredibly cute Crispy Maple Meringues are one of my all-time most popular recipes, both online and off. Everyone that tastes them falls in love with them... even those who thought they didn't care for crispy meringue! These treats give a fun crunch, but then they melt and become sticky in the mouth. Maple season is here! Every year, I look forward to seeing maple producers set up shop at local markets. Their arrival is reason to celebrate: it means winterโ€™s over halfway through! ๐ŸŽ‰

One of the best things about maple season is that it slightly overlaps citrus season. To make the most of this โœจmagicalโœจ period of the year, I created a maple-flavored version of panna cotta, a supremely delicious but oh-so-easy treat, and topped it with bright coral Cara Cara oranges and a simple shortbread-like maple crumble to top things off.
