An old favourite, the Onandaga Submarine in Rimouski, Quebec. When we visited again last fall, it had been painted with peace signs and flowers, which kind of detracted from its imposing, somber aspect. 🌷🌼🌸☮️
This Russian Helios 44-2 lens is ticking all the boxes for me. Super affordable (around $50 US), fast (f/2), sharp (at least in the centre), and produces a gorgeous swirly bokeh, unlike any other. I think I'm in love.
Woohoo! 🥂🍾💃🏻🏆🎆🎉 I won scenic photo of the year, in the Professional Photographers of Canada National Image Competition! My head is still spinning and it's only partly from all the wine I drank at the awards banquet last night. What an amazing honour! My winning photo, "Sunset Paddle" was taken on George Lake, in Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario. A spectacular place that deserves most of the credit!
Ok, I may be a little late to this party (typical me), but being able to post Swipeable panoramas like this, so they can be seen full size is pretty excellent. This panorama shows the spectacular view on the way out to the Puffin viewing place, near Elliston, Newfoundland.
