🔥🤔CARDIO VS WEIGHT TRAINING?

Which one burns more fat?

Let's take a look at the two.

First and foremost, the most fundamental part of how much fat you have or body fat percentage you have is your nutrition.

If you workout and burn 1000 calories, but eat an additional 1500 calories that day, then all the effort is lost.

CARDIO.

The cardiovascular activity I refer to here is relatively low intensity cardio lasting 30 mins to 45 mins per session.

Examples of this would be running, biking, swimming, etc.

This type of cardio is beneficial in several ways but when talking about caloric expenditure, it will burn calories during the workout. The moment u stop, no more calories are burnt, which is one of the biggest differences between this type of physical activity with weightlifting and HIIT.

Another issue with these types of workouts is that they can get boring and you can lose motivation to workout all together.

WEIGHT TRAINING.

Weight training can prove to be even more advantageous for burning calories. Here are three ways weightlifting will burn calories.

1 - You will burn calories during the workout.

2 - Your metabolic rate will increase for a period of 24 hours, thus, burning extra calories.

3 - The more muscle mass you have the more calories are burnt.

NOTE: Weightlifting can be more enjoyable and motivational for the reason that there is a wide array of different training methods and techniques to go about and you can visually see the progress.

Although it may seem that one is more beneficial than the other, let's not forget that weightlifting requires more time to recover.

Also, choosing one over the other depends on your fitness objectives. For burning calories, it is better to have a combination of both.

17 - I am lazy.

18 - I am too old.

There may be legitimate reasons as to why you cannot go workout. But if you manage your time properly and are dedicated enough, there will be no excuse.

HOW YOUR SHOULDERS ARE FORMED.

Before we can choose which exercises to implement in our shoulder workouts, it is crucial we understand the anatomy so that you can hit them at every angle, giving that full boulder-like shoulder.

Here are the different parts. Let's take a look.

Let's start with the deltoids.

DELTOIDS: separated in three parts; anterior head, middle head and posterior head.

ANTERIOR HEAD: Located at the the front of your shoulders. The strongest of the three heads. Giving the shoulders thickness and size when viewed from the side. Front raises and shoulder press work well to target this area.

MIDDLE HEAD: Located at a more central or middle part of the shoulders. Giving the shoulders size and width when viewed from the front. Lateral raises and upright rows work well to target this area.

POSTERIOR HEAD: Located at the back of the shoulders. Probably the most neglected part of the deltoids for most people. Reverse lateral raises and face pulls target this area well.

ROTATOR CUFFS: Deep muscles used for stability and support. Injuries in this area are common which is why it is important to warm them up and and practice proper form.

🔥FUNDAMENTAL NUTRIENTS.

One of the most crucial elements to proper recovery is your nutrition.

Thats right, certain foods can help accelerate the healing process. Avoid swelling promoting and inflammation promoting foods.

Here are a list of nutrients that will help you recover better from the injury.

CALCIUM: (found in milk and dairy products) Helps repair and rebuild connective tissue.

VITAMIN B COMPLEX: Helps reduce inflammation and injury related stressors.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS: Helps cellular health and speeds recovery process.

BCAA: Promotion of muscle, bone and skin tissue healing process.

VITAMIN C: Helps tissue repair and growth.

MULTIVITAMIN: Helps with nutrient (minerals and vitamins) deffieciencies.

ZINC: Important for tissue repair.

8-11 servings of fruits and vegetables is recommended for optimal recovery.

Drink plenty of water.

Be careful with imflammation promoting foods such as cayenne, spices, potatoes, white flour, etc.
