๐Ÿ”นWhat are you most proud of? - "Bringing a vision to life at Freedive Gili and Gili Yoga! Our business represents our own stories of changing direction in life, following our dreams, teaching from the heart and our love affair with learning and growing. It was born out of a passion for adventure and the desire to share what transformed our own lives and it lights me up everyday to watch our students have their own enlivening experience of Yoga and Freediving."

๐Ÿ”นWhat is your biggest motivation? - "To love and celebrate myself as I am and others as they are."

๐Ÿ”น What has been your biggest challenge?
- "Trusting that I am enough just the way I am.
I used to have some pretty painful beliefs about myself and I was terrified of others seeing me the way I saw myself. I tried really hard to cover that up by doing more, trying harder, showing a brave face and sometimes a fake smile.
These days I am willing to show up and be seen and it has allowed me to deepen my connection with myself and with others." - Thank you so much @Katemiddletonyoga โคโœจ

I wish for kids to grow up with strong self-esteem!
To not get harmed by society. To not compare themselves and look for imperfections.

๐Ÿ”ทDescribe your passion for Yin Yoga?
- "I cannot live without Yin yoga. It is true love for me. Time when you give your soul and your body exactly what it needs at the moment. I work from the inside when creating my classes. I have always a purpose with the class. It can be for example to be safe, listening, playfulness, letting go or paying attention to your feelings. We hold the yin yoga poses for about 5-10 minutes and the participants have their eyes closed in the pose with soft music in the background which is there to support the theme of the class. This gives the participants like an active meditation when they are able to connect with themselves. When holding the poses we work with our fascia. To make it more soft. The older we get the tighter and dryer the fascia becomes. Which can give us pain and stiffness in our body. Working with the fascia is like a love story for your body. We have fascia from top til toe and around all muscles, skeleton, organs, joints and tendons. It is actually the fascia that holds our body. Without the fascia we would fall to pieces. So it is very important so give our fascia love since it has a lot to do with our wellbeing. Yin yoga is very calming and since we have so much yang in our lives today, its more important then ever to make more space for Yin (calmness) inner lives."

- "To live close to my truth and be authentic. And of course that my daughter, friends and family are all well."

- "I must say that I am most proud of the courage I had when leaving a well-paid high status employment to work with my passion. To be my own and to live closer to my own truth."

- "Celebrating our divine, raw, beautiful humanness in community. I love holding space for others to wake up to their own power and potential. I get to witness real magic everyday as people remember how good it feels to be in their body, to feel at home in themselves and to connect authentically with others."

I am inspired by people who courageously share their stories and inspire others to do the same. I am in love with Nature as the creative and unique expression of life that we are all part of and I want the whole world to take up to this truth and celebrate it in harmony."

๐Ÿ”ทCan you share a tip about personal development?
- "One of the most important things when wanting to work with yourself is to prioritize some time alone with yourself everyday. The reason for this is that you need the silence to be able to pay attention to the signals that you receive from your body and soul all the time. Signals that we most often ignore when having an intense lifestyle. So my best tip is to start every morning with some time for yourself. Make sure that you have a space where you can sit without being disturbed. Log out from internet and do not have the radio or the TV on. It has to be silence all around you. Light a candle. Sit down comfortably and just close your eyes. Ask yourself how you feel today; How does your body feel? What kind of emotions are living inside of you right now? What kind of thoughts are running around in your head? Just pay attention to this without judging yourself. Then, ask yourself โ€what do I need today?โ€ and when you have an answer inside of you, then ask yourself โ€what can I do for myself to meet that need today?โ€ You only have to give yourself 10 minutes of this each morning. I think you can create that time for this. You are worthy these few minutes each day to get in touch with yourself."

- "To meet new people and listen to their life stories. We all have different things happening in our life and also different ways of coping with them. It is an honor for me to work with people brave enough to try to change their lives to become more authentic to themselves. To be more close to their own truth and making choices forward with the goal to create a life they really want to live. I meet them in therapy and also when teaching yin yoga. A lot happens within the soul, both in therapy and in yin yoga, which makes it a dream combination."

How you think of yourself and how you value yourself shows a lot in your body language.
Mind and body is one.
You can change your state of mind by changing your body position.
So straight your back because you are important.
Relax your shoulders and neck.
Feel your body, how it sustain you, your lungs providing you with oxygen and heart pumping blood every minute of the day.
Smile.
You are amazing.
You deserve the best.
Treat yourself right.
Let go of people who won't.

- "Yoga woke me up. The movements, the breathing, the meditation opened doors inside of me that had been closed for such a long time. The stillness. To dare being alone, to dare be in my own company. To not always run, looking for the next kick. But being present, in the moment, see things as they are."

- "My drive force today is to spread yoga and meditation as a tool to as many people as possible to help in peoples often so-busy daily life. You could change your thoughts with just a few simple small new habits or yoga positions when you fet stuck. When your mind spins and it won't calm down. When stress and pressure disturbs your daily balance."
