Here is a special transformation story for one of our longest customers, @carrie_fitposh. “Three and a half years ago, I started a journey. I didn't know where it would take me, or even if I'd get anywhere, but I knew I needed to lose weight and be healthier. I was 39 and slowly killing myself with a food consuming, lazy lifestyle. I had high blood pressure, anxiety, and couldn't get out of bed without being winded. I had a 3 month old grandson I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to play with, much less watch graduate from high school. I was obese. I was miserable.
Fast forward until this weekend and I just ran my very first Spartan race! 5.5 miles, 23 obstacles, sand, mud, water, sweat and bruises... it did not disappoint. Please, don't tell me you can't do this. You can. You can do anything. I had no surgeries, I took no pills. There were no magic drinks or super shakes. I worked my butt off, literally, because I was tired of being tired. I changed the way I viewed food and how much and what I ate. It didn't happen overnight, but the hard work was worth every single bit of time spent in the gym. And yesterday, I became a Spartan! How cool is that?!?”
