Anywhosies, seeing as I have to workout in my garage quite a bit I'm forced to be a lil creative with my leg workouts so I thought I'd share one that killed me tonight😬(I'm realizing as I write this out how much my face moves when I type,I legit just made the emoji face I wanted before I typed it😂😂) Lol sorry I got sidetracked. Ok so tonight I did 4-5 sets of this(honestly I lost track haha) and it was killer🔥 The second movement may feel a bit awkward at first but just try to go to right above parallel and not below or facing falling over😂 :
Superset: 4-5 sets
1️⃣Under the leg Stationary Lunges: 12 reps per leg
2️⃣BB Hack Squats: 10 reps

Like most peeps out there, I'd say I'm a pretty quad dominant gal, so finding new ways to leave my hammies sore af is one of my top priorities on leg days( I still target quads tho cuz personally I love big quads haha)
Give this superset a try next leg day! Make sure to keep tension in the hamstrings at all times and go nice and slow(this vid is sped up). :
Close Stance RDLs 15 reps
Wide Stance RDLs 15 reps
Repeat 3 more times for a total of 4 sets!!! :

I'm not typing up some motivational caption that hides how I actually feel. Not right now at least. I'm typing this up to relieve stress, anxiety and to just let you all know how I've actually been. I've been trying so hard to be positive lately and for the most part I've been great about. I mean yes I have moments were I freak out and come close to tears but I've been trying to push those away and make myself realize my problems could be way worse. The fact that my house still hasn't sold doesn't mean shit to someone who's dying(pardon my French heh) but sometimes I just can't look at it that way. Being perfectly frank, i used to have bad anxiety(and it was amplified by my ed as well) and would let it turn into anger, I hurt my family and sometimes even my friends with it but I hadn't had an outburst in years... until today. Before first period, I cried, I got anxious but my boyfriend was there and I was able to make it go away. But as more homework and pressure got out on me through the day, my anxiety grew and kept growing. It grew to the point that I could no longer hold it in and i flipped on both my mom and my sister, I didn't yell hurtful things, but I still yelled and burst into tears. I remained negative for a while until I was able to get it all out when lifting tonight. I'm able to think now, I'm able to see clearly and I think rationally. I'm making it a priority of mine now to know when I could flip and to find someway to let out the anger or anxiety before it happens again. I don't want to be that person who constantly hurts the ones that get the closest,hell no. I'm want to be better. I know I can be better. I'm going to be better.

Today has been an amazing day💗 I don't normally take Sundays as off days but my best friend of 11 years flew down here from Oregon so we spent the day hanging out,talking,looking at beautiful vintage clothing,and staring at this beautiful food😂 I just thought I'd share this super beautiful and IG worthy food with you even though we didn't cough up the money to but any lol. We were actually so obsessed with the whole aesthetic of this shop though-subway tiles,a brick wall,macaroons,wooden wallpaper,ya get the point. Haha but anyway I don't really know where I'm going with this post except that today was pretty great and I got to spend it with my bestest friend ever so... I love you all!! Hope you had amazing Sundays!!!!💕

Another workout?!!
Even when on a bulk,cardio is still important for heart health. I like incorporating 10-20 minute sessions into my workouts 2-3 times a week. Cardio not only makes me feel amazing and is good for my heart,but it also makes it easier for me to eat as much as I have been. Having been bulking for about 9 months now(yes I grow very slowly and I also prefer bulking rather than full on bulking) eating a ton has become harder and I find that cardio makes it easier for me to eat enough. Anyway, I did shoulders then this quick little HIIT circuit today and got soo sweaty💦💦

The Circuit: Repeat 4x
✨Jump rope-intense for as long as possible then switch to a slower pace and do about 20 secs of that
✨10 Burpees ✨30 Standing Crossover Crunches(15 per side)
✨Intense Mountain Climbers for as long as you can

Tonight's workout killed me...I came home and laid on the floor for like 10 mins cuz I didn't wanna move😅 I decided to do a bit more high reps,lower weights today to switch things up and I ended up going a lil crazy😂I dare you guys to try it,your booty will ☠️

Booty and Leg Workout😈
✖️Booty Activation and warmup with bands for 5-10mins
✖️Superset 1: 4 sets
-Single Leg Reverse Hack Squats(put one leg at the front of the platform and the other off the platform behind it,kinda looks like a Bulgarian split squat) 12 reps per leg
-Bulgarian Split Squats 15 reps per leg
✖️Leg Press 4x8-14 heavier weight each set ✖️10x10 Back Squats-1 min rest between sets;try to go ass to the grass if possible
✖️Superset 2: 3 sets
-Walking lunges 30 reps(15 per leg)-focus on pushing through the front leg and glute -Jumping Lunges 20 reps(10 per leg)
✖️Superset 3: 3 sets
- DB Tension RDLs-Close stance with toes slightly pointed out 15 reps
-DB Tension RDLs-Wide Stance toes pointed slightly out 15 reps

Just realized I was wearing this sports bra in my 2nd to last post but I swear this one's from today😂
So I was studying for psych earlier and I got reminded of a study I read about this summer.
A group of bodybuilders/powerlifters were asked if they wanted to take part in a study about how much their strength increased when on steroids. Of course they said yes but little did they know that only half of them were getting steroids. The funny thing is though,they all increased in strength every lifting session. The Placebo Effect occurred: the half believed they were on drugs and could therefore get stronger faster and ended up gaining the same amount as the other half. When both groups found out that only half were on drugs,the steroid users of course continued to gain strength while the others no longer hit as many PRs and either maintained or even lost strength. This just goes to show that it is all about mindset. If you believe you can,then you will. You don't need drugs or "cheats" to improve, you just need faith and belief in yourself to improve. 💪🏻

So I was going to show a lot of my workout from Friday but I just noticed that not all of my videos transferred to my new phone🙄 I'm missing my super deep squat at 170lbs(woohooo finally getting there) as well as my insane and awful leg press set that I supersetted with the single leg RDLs. I'm kinda annoyed at that rn esp cuz I wanted that squat video for progress purposes but oh well it's going to be fine😅🤓Also sorry about the angles of these, the other ones were better but they disappeared😩😂So anyway here's a few things from my workout:

So I got a new phone today!!🙌🙌Upgraded from my cracked iPhone6 with horrible Bluetooth to a beautiful iPhone7!!!!!!!!! But anyway while looking through my photos to make sure all of them transferred I can across some old photos😳Those were from January of this year! This year!!! I didn't even realize that I was still so small at the time! Thank gosh I decided to bulk and put on weight and muscle because honestly I'm not really sure if I was completely healthy at the time🤥 I took the bottom photos earlier today to compare and damn I've put on a lot of muscle 💪🏻 There's about a 15lb difference between the two photos😱I never realized how helpful taking progress photos was but now I'm feeling really damn proud and motivated to keep killing it in the gym😎🤓 Obviously I haven't put on a ton of muscle but for me,that is a lot,especially for upper body😁If I could give anyone just starting to train some advice, I'd tell them to keep putting in the work,progress and results take time,and to take progress photos because they are really motivating😂💪🏻💪🏻

I told you guys the other day that I'd tell you my new goals so here I am! Since the school year is just starting for me and I'm moving soon so I'll be getting a "new start" , I've been feeling super motivated to find my happy place! This contest from @howidomore couldn't have come at a better time and it carries such a great message!❤️ I encourage you all to make a list of your own for this upcoming year!!! Without further ado here are my goals:

🦄Be more confident. I know sounds cliché right? But it's so necessary for finding yourself and growing into the best you. I often find myself questioning myself and holding myself back from things just because I don't want to be embarrassed or because I already am embarrassed but that prevents me from experiencing so many things! In order for me to live my life to the fullest I need to grow my confidence!

🦄Continue to face my fears. I know it's been about 3 years since the end of my eating disorder but I still have trouble eating certain things. This year I want to face those foods and finally eat them without the guilt I used to experience at all times. I want to get out of my comfort zone and face anything and everything that may scare me this year(Not just fear foods but activities too). :
🦄And lastly I want to just grow as a person. I want to be kinder,more generous,smarter(Aka just learn as much as I can in and out of school haha), and a more well rounded athlete. :
Alright so those are all my goals for this year! I know they may seem a little ambitious but I know they are definitely doable💪🏻 Thank you @paragonfitwear for holding such an amazing contest that encourages so much growth!!!
