Here’s a nice kettlebell workout. Each exercise is done 5 times each for 5 rounds. The heavier the weight, the harder the workout! 💪🏽 You can also increase rounds and reps! I’m using two kettlebells because I’m recovering from a wrist injury (playing on the monkey bars 🙈 with Mia). Two-handed swing

Though this applies to many things in life, I especially want to focus on weight loss specifically. People want results quickly but the reality is, slow consistent weight loss is not only healthier for the body, it’s also more permanent! Weight loss is NOT a natural process. That’s one of the reasons it’s so challenging. The body holds onto weight for purposes of instinctual survival! 1. Create some healthy obtainable goals 2. Start executing with NO excuses 3. Repeat one and two once you meet your goals 4. Hire a trainer or find and accountability partner 🙋🏽

I can’t believe this was 6 years ago! 😳 The person I was in this picture and the person I am now...let’s just say, a lot has changed. I have lost one of the greatest loves of my life (my daughter Amara), I have suffered a broken heart 💔 and continued the journey of life long grief... Though I experienced these things and more, I am the happiest NOW than I’ve ever been. My adversities have strengthened my faith! The amount of people who are impacted by my story has helped in the healing process. Don’t get me wrong, I have days AND moments; however, I have learned to accept them, be in them and then make a decision to choose happiness in the moments to follow.
