One of my most asked questions is “do your kids eat healthy? If so, how do you do it?!” I so wish I had the perfect answer for you. They eat healthyISH. I try to be mindful of sugar, always encourage 3 bites of everything on their plate, and try to make it fun by letting Joy wash veggies and J use the salad spinner but it’s NEVER easy. Dips help; Joy loves hummus and ranch whereas J is much less picky.
We try to save fast food for special dates with grandparents but sometime a little chic fil a keeps us sane!
All I can say is KEEP TRYING. I stopped crying over barely touched plates years ago so don’t stress! And YES- I have chicken nuggets and corn dogs in my freezer but I always slide a veggie on the plate with them 😉
