Two days ago one of my favourite souls just passed away. She was a special person in my life, a home where my happy childhood memories reside. Agnes would call her the bubbliest, happiest and kindest grandma she's ever met.
The last time I met her was a month ago when I visited her to see how she was doing and cheer her up after recovering from a not so-good health condition that made her being admitted to the hospital mutiple times.
I initiated to make a video call to Agnes who couldn't join me because herself was bedresting at my parents place, too sick to go anywhere. I asked my grandma to take selfies with me before I went home and as always she did it happily, she waved to my phone camera and smiled brightly despite her weak movements. I just realized it was her waving goodbye to me. That video call turned out to be the last video call between Agnes and my grandma.
I believe now she's in heaven, a much better place away from worldly sorrows...reunited with grandpa.
Thank you grandma for teaching me by example how to always genuinely be happy no matter how our situation is. You will be missed.
We love you.
