I haven’t had as much time to sew or read this year but wow I did finish a few quilts and even surpassed my 54 book reading goal by reading 10 in December alone! Happy New Year, my friends! May you have lots of blessings and finishes for 2019! #mustfinishthehexiequilt
My last #dogoodstitches quilt for this year! This quilt is going to a family who tragically lost their 21 year-old son in an accident recently. I asked everyone to send 3 #annamariahorner feathers and trimmed them to roughly 9.5”x17.5” depending on the templates size everyone used. Luckily, I was able to put all the short ones in one row. Finished size is 60”x88”. Quilting services was generously donated by @jennthurston and label made by @sewinland Thank you #harmonydogoodstitches ladies!
Happy weekend, friends! It’s been a long couple weeks and even longer since I’ve sewn. As always having doGood blocks to make forces me to take a moment for myself (and for our doGood recipient) to enjoy a good pull, cut, and sew. These fun blocks are for @brownbirddesigns using the @rileyblakedesigns#whisperwingsquilt pattern.
Can you guys believe it’s already mid October! It’s so dark in the mornings and early evenings I haven’t had a chance to take a decent pic of these Celtic measuring cups until today. I wanted to give a shout out to Deborah @crosbyandtaylor for repairing the handles on two of my 17-year old measuring cups for free and gifting a little “pinch” spoon. She sent a coupon and I bought the matching teaspoon set too. #supportsmallbusiness#supportwomensbusiness#crosbyandtaylor
