Tincanknits Strange Brew Knits has been incredibly popular this winter! The book will soon be back in stock at the store, and we've decided to teach this design as a class this winter!! This is Marshland, a top down fair isle yoke sweater worked in worsted weight yarn. The class dates are: TH Jan 31, Feb 7 & 21, 7-9 pm. You need to be able to knit, purl and work in the round. That's it for this class! Let us teach you how to do your first stranded color work.

This is the classic Elizabeth Zimmerman pattern, the February Baby Sweater. If you haven't tackled an EZ pattern yet, our February Baby Sweater class is a great way to do so. Instructor Tanis helps you work through the unique pattern and sweater construction while you make this top down lace sweater. The class dates are:
TU Jan 8, 15 & 22, 7-9 pm
If you already have the skills, stop in and grab the Knitter's Almanac book from us and some DK weight hand dyed merino to make an absolutely lovely baby gift. *Photo by Jared Flood

Here's another pattern recommendation from this weeks gift making guide - from our friends at @looplondonloves. The Cecelia cowl uses on cake of @freiafibers Super Bulky and makes a colorful and impressive gift. Hit our homepage to see our entire guide and get pattern links.

From this weeks holiday gift guide - the Nina Hat.

We are so excited to host designer Stephen West for another exciting trunk show and book signing. Join us on February 3rd after hours! From 6-8 pm Stephen will show us a brand new book - Hiberknitting! This book is available in print exclusively through the shops on Stephen West’s tour. Stephen will be showing off all of the designs from this new book and all participants in this event will among the first to see them!

Stephen will give an inspiring presentation on how he works with yarns, textures, and shapes followed by a book signing of both Westknits Bestknits books and, of course, his newest book. After the book signing, Stephen will be available to help you shop for colors and yarns for your next Westknits project.
