@alec_berghoef Day 3. "Unfortunately, during my time there we had a few days of bad weather. So one night we all searched online to find somewhere close by with better weather. After a couple hours we zeroed in a place called the Presles Gorges (pronounced like prayer, but with an extra long A). Descriptors like a ‘easy approach’, ‘second best to the Verdon’, and ‘bullet-hard limestone’ lured us in. It was amazing! An orange and blue limestone cliff, 3km long with hundreds of 6-8 pitches routes. Anything from fully bolted sport routes to pure traditional climbing. We settled on a route called ‘Le Doigt de Passion’ 6c/7a. Superb climbing, awesome exposure and fully bolted! Afterword the whole group met up at the car and went over to a single pitch zone to wrap up the day. It was wonderful watching the sunset over the French countryside." This wraps up the takeover! Hope you all enjoyed it!
