Some sweet Friday lunch starter inspo. ... After Eid, I had an abundance of nuts and baklava so came up with this baklava soji😅. So many interesting soji variations, so I thought, why not!

Braise 1 cup soji with 125g butter. Add 2 cups boiling water, stirring continuously breaking all lumps. Add 2 cups milk and 1 tbsp rose water and 2 tsp cinnamon. Add 1 tin condensed milk. When almost done add 1 cup of assorted chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, macadamias). Swirl in bit of golden syrup.
