I was never a cheese person. I got married. And I love them both.
We are still having warm days so a bowl of cold salad is always welcome. This is my #Peach #Arugula #FetaCheese #Salad. #Balsamic and Feta with the #jerjer and peach makes a great marriage.
Peach Arugula Feta Cheese Salad
lots of Arugula leaves (jerjer, or gerger), washed and then rinsed in ice cold water
1 to 2 peach, cut into wedges
one handful pomegrante arils
2 to 3 tablespoon feta cheese, crumbled
handful of toasted almonds or walnuts
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
crushed black pepper
a dash of sugar
First, spread the crispy fresh leaves and then top it with the peach wedges and pomegrante. Refrigerate until needed.
Prepare the salad dressing
Before serving, add feta cheese, almonds and the salad dressing
Feta Cheese is salty so when you use it, ensure to add salt sparingly.
