Today I did a bit of pickling. These pickles are so moreish. I'm sharing the recipe below. I love chilli so next time I would put two more in and I would normally pickle cabbage and white radish too if it was available. Change up the recipe to suit your tastebuds. It's great to eat straight out of the jar or a delicious side for BBQ meats! •
Pickled Veg Recipe

2 cucumbers
2 carrots
Any other veg like white radish, cabbage
Garlic (I used 3 cloves)
Ginger (I used I inch)
1 tbs salt
2 tbs sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
Chilli (I used 1 large)

Combine all of it and taste. You may need to adjust flavours.

Road trip - Las Vegas to Santa Barbara. At the time, the car was moving pretty fast and the clouds were too. Kind of like in fast forward mode. That whole moment reminds me of how our lives just pass us by so quickly. 😧 Takes me to this detox and why I did it in the first place. To me it is a step closer to being my full potential and it's all part of my journey to live the life I envision. Need to grasp every opportunity now to better myself, I'm not getting any younger!

Detox Cons: The seven day smoothie/soup menu was boring and gross after three days and needed more variety. My stubbornness saved me. It was the only bad thing but a major flaw as it sets you up for failure if you don't have a strong mindset. Pros: I have a waist now. My skin is not as oily. I don't crave any type of junk foods. I have energy. I love the taste of raw and freshness. I appreciate whole foods. Has changed my outlook on future food choices. It saved me money. So much positives and not to mention I shed a few kilos as a bonus. So the detox has ended but it's just the start. Let's see how I handle food in the next few days 😛 It definitely is a whole lifestyle change but I am ready! 💪🏼 Goodnight 😴

Detox Day 6: This is comfort in a mug for me right now. Creamy Detox Latte. A tiny bit like a Chai Latte. I listed the ingredients below. This is my second last day and I'm feeling so good! Can't wait to share my results with you on Tuesday. I'm at my mums house and she makes the best food but I had no cravings whatsoever. Something's working •
1 detox tea bag
6 oz (180 ml) spring water
6 oz (180 ml) rice milk)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 serving of protein powder
1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
1 date, pitted

While all of Briz is at Paniyiri... I'm having my Ginger & Lemongrass Pumpkin Soup. It's green because I blended fresh coriander in it rather than dried. My favourite soup of the whole cleanse! It almost tastes like a curry. Creamy and so fresh. By night I'm also wanting hot food so this just hits the spot! •


Day 5 of Detox: I'm totally sick of all the smoothie flavours. The flaw of this cleanse is that the recipes repeat itself after the third day. So I couldn't finish my drinks, I ate an avocado instead of making a whole drink and tomorrow I might just eat a banana to replace a drink. My tastebuds are bored. The whole soup and liquid thing I can do, I'm stubborn as all hell but give a girl some variety! Cmon lol So no one reads these things right? Have to mention that today, walking the dog, my knickers literally fell off under my exercise pants haha so I'm thinking I've lost weight there. Nooooo not the booty! 😂😂😂

Detox Day 4. Today is when my recipes start to repeat itself but in different orders. So my taste buds might begin to get bored. Last night was the first where I felt my stomach was rumbling. Or was it something else lol oh I don't know cos I'm still sick with a cold. Cough kept me up all night 🤧

Today's essentials. Channelling my inner girlyness with pinks and purples to match my Detox Smoothie ha! I usually choose, black, whites, greys and nudes so this is odd for me. What can't you leave home without? I need lip balm and perfume and I'm such a hat fan! Solves the bad hair day problem. I'm a dodgey Asian that doesn't have silky smooth dead straight hair! And don't care if it's cloudy outside 👒


Detox Day 3. Going strong not hungry. The variety of smoothies and soup for dinner is perfect. Today I noticed my stomach bloating has gone. Well the way I used to eat, my guts had no time to rest! Poor thing lol and I'm richer too cos I haven't spent money on eating out woo hoo 👏🏼💰

Day 2 on detox and it's my favourite smoothie so far. I've listed the ingredients below. I have back to back clients today so I have prepared all my day time smoothies and put them in the fridge this morning. Choc Mint Smoothie:
355 ml unsweetened plant-based milk of choice (I used rice)
1 handful mint leaves
1 serving protein powder of choice
1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
Handful of spinach
1 date, pitted
1⁄2 avocado
1 banana
Blast it all in a blender and serve. So easy and delicious!

This path is when you start walking away from Baphuon Temple. One the many amazing ancient sites in Angkor Thom, Cambodia. I can only imagine just how huge the kingdom was back in the days. It takes my breath away! Just one tip. Beware of the monkeys! Slyest bag snatchers there lol actually wasn't funny at the time. We should have just given the bag to the monkey so it could look in it. Obviously it was hungry. Lucky no scratches on my mumma cos she was wearing long sleeves. #tbt


Detox Day 1: Perfect day to start cos I was sick with a fever and in bed all day. I needed all those nutrients that came from the two different green smoothies to make me feel better and it did. Finished the day off with a hot green soup with salt and pepper. Never has salt tasted so good! I am full of energy and no hunger pains at all. Looking forward to day 2.

I have man flu 🤧🤒 I rarely get sick but when I do oh stay away. Bad mood sweeps over but onto something different... I'm starting a seven day detox tomoz. If anyone wants to do it with me, it's not too late. I can send you the recipes and ingredients list. Everything is organic on purpose as it's a smoothie based cleanse. Eg: You would not be wanting to drink litres of Green Tea that has been sprayed with pesticides! Defeats the purpose of cleaning your insides. I have done two detoxes before. It's definitely not about weight loss. Last one cured a chronic night cough that I had for months. I'm also interested to see the difference in my skin. I've had the worst skin in the last year. I also feel like I've been eating and drinking really badly since my birthday and it has made me get sick so looking forward to some whole foods and feeling better! 🤕

This is my favourite local walk to The Old Quarry. Sometimes you are lucky and no one is around and all you can hear is nature. So peaceful. It's about an hours return trip and that's walking slow. There are some good hills to get the heart pumping. Running up the last one is a killer but I still try every time 🏃🏻‍♀️The dogs love the swimming part. They can smell the water when they are near. In the pic they are running to jump in, that's how excited they get. So cute.

Can someone tell me where I can get a good Banh Mi in Brisbane without car park road rage? 😂 My fav one is in Inala Plaza. Their baguette is warmed and crunchy. It's got the best aioli. I did get my fix this morning but worst idea ever to enter the parking lot at 10am. Sometimes I even leave empty handed cos I CAN NOT deal 😭
