Eyes on the Shore’s next chapter!
Five years ago we started to build a team with one goal: write the best songs we possibly could. It was at that time we met Cory and teamed up as a trio to explore a range of ideas and grow as musicians. While the music has grown tremendously over the last few years, the core of who we are has always remained present. Our partnership is something each one of us is proud of and has taken our vision to higher levels. This process is of course not without its many challenges. Maintaining a balance of creativity and vision is something that needs a lot of respect and patience. We each have to constantly find clarity in what we want for a life in music. We realized the best move forward as songwriters was no longer as a trio. Cory will be venturing into a new path of music and will not be singing with the band.
Eyes on the Shore remains fronted by Kayhan Golkar and Antrom Kury. This new exciting chapter begins with a residency at @thezoolabs in Oakland, California for the rest of September. We will enter a music incubator to continue building our vision, and start collaborating with some of our favorite artists as we search for a new singer! There are plenty of new ideas to explore, and we are very excited to put our minds together.
We want to thank each and every one of you for the love and support over the last five years, we wouldn’t be where we are without it. Here is to the next chapter!
Transitions in life are never easy, but it is these moments that bring us closest to ourselves to define what we want out of it. "Now the darkness only stays at night time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good
At arriving at the right time
But it's not always going
To be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away" ⁃Harrison
