A run with my favourite training partner on DAY 12. The day was a beauty, 12ยฐC in the middle of December ๐Ÿ˜ โค ... my Christmas wish is for the rest of the winter to stay this mild ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ #runburnaby

DAY 11 - bike and a bit of core. Didn't want to do too much since I still have to curl tonight and don't want to develop a silly overuse injury.

DAY 10 - treadmill run after some pedaling drills on the bike = a pretty awesome training day. The running isn't close to where it will be in July but it's slowly coming along.
DAY 9 - Tuesday - bike.
DAY 8 - Monday - rest - i think Mondays will end up being rest days.
DAY 7 - Sunday - run

@gozwift added NY to their routes a little while ago so today I got to ride through Central Park and a futuristic New York!! I made the ride so fun!! The program I started today will take me right up to the UBC Tri and hopefully after that the weather will permit outdoor riding again ๐Ÿ˜Š #ilovemybike #zwift

Yesterday was DAY 4 and I'm claiming is as a rest day, the intention was to ride on zwift but I didn't get organized in time and before I knew it the day ran away from me.

DAY 3 - RUN - still doing walk/runs ... looking forward to straight running but i have a feeling that's still a couple weeks away. #myjourney2019 #roadtoironman

So on DAY 2 my little experiment worked...I felt sooo lazy all day and my jetlag is still kicking my butt but I couldn't not do anything on DAY 2 right?? So there...at 9 pm I did my quick go-to workout: 10, 9, 8 and all the way to 1 of each of the following TRX rows, pushups and step back lunges. It was just the thing to get back into training :)

Today is DAY 1 of preparation for my planned events of 2019 pictured here.

I'm gonna try something new...I will catalogue all my days from today all the way until I finish my last event of 2019 on DAY 279.

I'm hoping that by doing this I will stay more focused and committed to my plan than I have ever been in the past.
I will keep it real...if I miss training I will post that too....it may not be pretty at times because I too can get lazy, unmotivated, unfocused and bored...but we'll see what happens.
