On This Day In ETID History: 2010. Freebirds. Jacksonville. RIP. We did a little night swimming and @thebushcannon shit in the ocean and then later he thought he saw a crab and picked it up and it was just his shit. Commence “DO THIS TOUR AGAIN” comments in 3... 2...
On This Day In ETID History: have we gone to the UK every May for the last 20 years? Well we sure as hell were there in 2009 with Gallows, and mark your calendars because we’re coming back this year to headline the Impericon Stage at 2018’s @slamdunkmusic festival! May 26, 27 and 28. Proper mental innit?!
On This Day In ETID History: tour began with It Dies Today and Protest The Hero at Nottingham’s Rock City in 2006. Since it was the first day overseas we probably either woke up right before the set of had been up for 30 hours straight. The United Kingdom is great this time of year, so throw us a double tap if you’re coming to watch us headline the Impericon Stage at the 2018 @slamdunkmusic festivals. 🇬🇧🤳🤳
On This Day In ETID History: Mother’s Day. Syracuse NY. Splatter core. In 2001, promoters made laminates for individual shows. Converge opened with Jane Doe. Between “End Of August” by TDF and “Broken Mouth” by Marty Rad, this show had the late 90s’ 2 heaviest breakdowns.

On This Day In ETID History: a mere 15 years ago we were at The Pound in San Fransisco with our newly reunited friends in Hopesfall. That venue was one of the best ever and every show there was perfect. Never any bullshit. Great energy. And a secret room with a 2 way mirror for Metallica to come watch shows in peace. At least that’s what we were told. Bay Area we’ll see you June 23rd. Good luck with all your playoffs.
Everyone reading this has only 2 more hours to wish our number one rocker @gooseshoes a happy 16th birthday! Go ahead and treat yourself to an extra garlic clove on this special day. That’s an inside joke everyone. You WISH you understood!
On This Day In ETID History: 14 years ago we were pulling into Nashville with Throwdom, Walls Of Jericho and 36 Crazy Fists. It was the second day of tour and it was already almost halfway over. The night before we played St Louis. Did someone just say “St Louis?” We’re playing St Louis July 3rd on the final @vanswarpedtour! Get a ticket and some sun screen and meet us at The Mutant White Lightning Stage! We have no idea what that means and we can’t wait to find out!
