Two weeks ago I made apple crisp. I held the apple peels and cores, added a little sugar and enough water to fill the jar. Now I have apple cider vinegar! I always thought I needed a mother to ferment this, but the recipe by @fairylandcottage worked perfectly. It’s a soft-smelling vinegar that I can’t wait to use in salad dressing and recipes. Leaning toward #zerowaste has really been an eye-opening and tasty adventure.
Most of Winter is full of black (red) and oolong teas for me. I was sipping something smoked just last night. But this morning I woke up and literally tripped over a box and sencha popped out. Tastes like Spring. #greenisgood#happyalmostspring
