Lake Como, Italy you were quite the trek to get to, but you were literally the breath of fresh air I was in need of. No internet, serene views, small town feels, rolling hills and all the vegetation I could ever want. Maybe it’s some kind of PNW withdrawal I’m having. Either way, nature is one of those things I can’t live without.
I’m seriously thinking of committing to doing something new and uncomfortable everyday. Comfort is my jam but wish it wasn’t. In hindsight, the moments I grew the most were when I was uncomfortable and unsure but showed up anyway. Maybe the yes theory is onto something. Is this me deciding to become a morning person?
Somebody pinch me! This is unreal. I mean I try to be cool about it and all but I still get jolts of excitement realizing where I’m at and what I’m doing. I’m soaking up the sun in Copenhagen. Like what!? Do you ever pause to be mindful and realize the moment is just sublime? All the details are as if they were orchestrated just for you. Back when I was feeling wack and didn’t know what was going on, I started listing everything I was thankful for in the present moment every chance I got. I didn’t stop doing that while traveling and what I keep concluding is: Jesus, you’re amazing and thank you. I’m just along for the ride. ———————————————————————— #handtype#script#bicycle#whatmattersmost#letteringart#livethelittlethings
I wanted to talk about limitations and in what ways I found them helpful. But, how can I while reaping the benefits of someone else’s resiliency during unimaginable challenges? I don’t know what it means to be limited to the point where I feel like my only option is to risk torture, prison or death for a better future. It’s my dad and mom who showed me that challenges aren’t there to stop you but a means to something better. pc @tobijahrairdon
It’s powerful to learn how art unified a country so much so it became their revolution. Estonia led a Singing Revolution when 1/3 of its population gathered to sing in protest. Whether it’s through art or some other form of connection may you stop to empathize with the humans around you today. _______________________________________________________
I can not believe that we are currently touring botanical gardens and specialty coffee shops around Europe. It’s been about two years of asking ourselves questions about life and its opportunities. Now those dreams are coming to fruition, yet this is just the beginning. #plantsmakepeoplehappy#seeksimplicity#botanicalgardens
