For lunch today is: potatoes I baked over the weekend, some microwaved frozen vegetables, and an avocado. With some dressing and srircha! Eating healthy doesn't have to be hard when you have a desk job ๐Ÿ˜

Seoul bowl ๐Ÿ™Œ back to my roots ๐Ÿ˜ been trying to lay off the imitation meat but hey... it's okay to indulge here and there. This bowl was 33g of protein โค๐ŸŒฟ

The other week I went to la fitness to cancel my membership (since my work has a gym now) out of curiosity I asked how long it's been since I last checked in, the clerk goes "you sure you wanna know...? It'll be one year next week" ๐Ÿ™„ welp...๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ last night I packed my gym bag (so I'd be more inclined to go in the morning.) My alarm went off at 5am and I snoozed it a good 5 times, but hey! I got my butt up, drove to the bus stop, and got a slightly decent work out in. Afterwards, I drank a green smoothie, and now I feel like a whole new person ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿป who thissss?! The reason for this post is to have people call me out if I get lazy and stop going. I need to start forming this habit ๐Ÿ™Œ

Making potatoes wedges tonight ๐Ÿ™Œ I recommend getting these baking mats on Amazon, you don't ever need to use foil or oil again! Seasoning for the fries: garlic powder, paprika, and cumin ๐Ÿ‘Œ anyone have advice on making then crispy without using oil ?!

Portebello steak โค the mushroom was burnt.. the parsley topping tasted bitter, but somehow eating it all together tasted pretty good ๐Ÿ˜‚ Portobello mushrooms have a unusually meaty texture to it, I'd say dinner was a semi success๐Ÿ‘Œ I'll perfect it later on. The marinate for the mushroom: balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, A1, chili sauce, paprika, pepper, salt.

My boyfriend wants to start eating healthier with me๐Ÿ™ŒSo he took every vegetable known to man, threw it in a bowl, took a bite, and it had absolutely no flavour!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ he doesn't know the power of good seasoning (not salt) and fresh herbs ๐ŸŒฟ. I tell people this all the time but your palette changes when you eat more plant foods๐Ÿ˜›๐ŸŒฟAt first it can taste "bland& #34; but your palette needs to get accustomed to not being drowned with sugar and salt. I know my page is full of vegan food (many are not healthy) so I'm sort of a hypocrite for saying all this. But I do love myself some simple meals like this๐Ÿ˜Š

Put my spiralizer to use tonight๐Ÿฅ’ Made zucchini pesto noodles for dinner with @gardein crabless cakes. Wasn't feeling well today so I made something light, and quick. The Creamy sauce: ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅ‘Two avocados, ๐ŸŒฟa few handful of basil, lemon juice, two garlic cloves, pepper, and salt.

Closer look at the dragon bowl I had in Portland๐Ÿ‰ I love drenching sauce in my veggie bowls. I know it sounds weird but I think it tastes the best when its soggy โค
