Terra cotta reproduction of a deaf and mostly blind woman's drawing. Usually the students do most of the work themselves, but I provided more hands on assistance with this one. Essentially because the drawing is rad, and as she felt the lips, which I sculpted first to get her started, she immediately recognized as the lips in her drawing and began pointing to each back and forth with excitement. I had to keep going because every time I walked away to help someone else, she became upset. Fun day at work.
