Endless summer: tonight Amy and I finally got around to trying a recipe for Campari pops! So yummy, anytime of year...

While I was in England, @the_morgan_meister took this photo of a delicate dahlia... and they are still going strong! #latergram

It came down to the wire, but I took ownership of this new SnapDragon with pink fenders today (fluffy sheepskin and Liberty of London shorts not included)!

In the side yard of the same church, Our Lady & the English Martyrs, a grave nearly obscured by the beautiful and ubiquitous "Raven" Penstemon. 2/2

Mary was in her element at the Church of Our Lady & the English Martyrs; it wouldn't have shown proper reverence to photograph her inside, so here is some stonework at the entrance (little acorns?). 1/2

Glad to be back in our cozy hotel in Cambridge, where there are more gin varieties than I can list; this one is by the Pinkster label, in a G&T with infused raspberries.

We spent the weekend up north in Newcastle, and it was such a joy to visit the seaside home of Tanya and Ed in Cullercoats; here is her garden Inukshuk, a human-made stone landmark or cairn used by the Inuit, Iñupiat, Kalaallit, Yupik, and other peoples of the Arctic region of North America.

For @daphniemetcalf , this is Alnwick Castle in the distance, setting for Harry Potter films! It is open during summer only, but our friends Tanya and Ed were kind enough to drive us by...

That brick wall turned out to be Rosie's Bar ("probably the best bar in the world"), founded by our people, no doubt... but we ended up having a delightful chat with a couple from St. Tropez who love visiting Las Vegas! 2/2

Our first night up north in Newcastle; we visited @balticgateshead and then later turned a corner onto this lovely scene near dusk. 1/2

We went to the village of Grantchester, came around a corner and there it was, the same church from one of my favorite cozy mysteries! No luck finding the vicarage, but we did see free-range cows and had a very nice lunch at the @grantchesterredlion.

Hey @yofiffy , check out this Espessonic Mocktail! It is a double espresso, Fever-tree tonic (the local pride), and lime syrup. Pretty refreshing!
