Wonder Woman with these Wonder Women!

"Freedom is not an ideal, it is not even a protection, if it means nothing more than freedom to stagnate, to live without dreams, to have no greater aim than a second car and another television set." ~ Adlai E. Stevenson

I have some seriously amazing coworkers and friends at work! They organized a surprise party, a really healthy potluck, made sure I got a picture with each person that came, gave me a card packed with notes, and presented me with a journal with sweet messages. I can't wait to read through them all! Wonderfully overwhelmed with blessing and gratefulness! I would tag everyone but I would hate to miss someone. THANK YOU ALL!!! One more Cycle class in the morning and and I'm officially done. Crazy!

My pickleball pals and coworkers surprised me tonight with a beautiful card, cash, and a BOSU BALL!!! I've wanting a Bosu ball for years now and have been thinking of things to use instead when I hit the road. But I have my very own now!! You guys are the bestest!!! 😁😁😁

I understand that these states have rarely been fully united, it's people always free, or it's patriots truly brave. But despite any motives of those who sponsor war and conflict, countless brave souls have given everything for their loved ones and country, and countless more have lost loved ones for their country. And I believe in caring for and loving the country one lives in. I believe America brought an awareness to the world of the value of human life and the equality of rank, race, and religion despite still struggling to live that out. I believe we have a great opportunity before us as the great melting pot to celebrate and honor diversity without losing individual identity. I wish for this to mean a greater capacity for each of us to love unconditionally, just like our Source does. So celebrate today and always by living fully and loving deeply. πŸŽˆπŸŽ‰ Happy 241st, America!!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆ

I got some toys! I've been letting myself invest in things and experiences that bring me joy, because joy is always a good investment! Ready for land and water adventures. 😁😁😁

Playground "obstacle course" workout today! It's good to be a kid. :)

Those who know me well know that my life purpose and passion is to inspire and equip others to live life fully alive, to know and pursue their joy. For several years now I've wanted to write about this, particularly about the challenges of positive life change, how we overcome them, and the basics of total-being wellness that makes this possible.
But I haven't had the time. I've been so busy with jobs and school over the years I haven't gone beyond giving presentations on the content. It didn't seem practical or possible.

So with my recent personal development work in letting go of fear and reconnecting with and honoring my heart, I've decided to "be fearless in the pursuit of what sets my soul on fire." You already know I dropped my classes for now, but I also just gave my notice at Tamarac this week. I will be there through the 14th, and probably in the area until early August. I plan to head east with my RV trailer and travel around the country clockwise as I write and create videos, etc. (Look for updates along the way)! I'm so grateful for so many people who have helped me grow and heal recently, particularly Julie, Rachel, and Amanda.
I am going to miss my lovely West Michigan friends, and would love to connect before I go in August.
This venture is certainly risky, but I am courageous and am trusting that I will be guided along the way to really good things. I am so excited!!

For most of the past 12 years I've worked multiple jobs or worked and gone to school, earning a license, three certifications, an associates, and nearly a bachelor's. But I've been so busy trying to "catch up" that I haven't let myself really live. Some parts of it have been amazing, but much of it has been teeth gritting, muscle tensing drive and determination, not letting myself experience simple joys and love of life, almost like a punishment to try to reach my goals.
So I'm taking a break from school to live life. The last couple of weekends have been so amazing, full of friends and beautiful, life-giving, experiences. One of the big points of life is to not do impressive stuff but to find joy. I don't want to get to the end of my life and realize I outworked everyone around me and missed out on the most important and simplest joys that were available to me.
Live life fully alive!

I wish I had pictures from everything today, one of my favorites of 2017 so far! This morning I got to kayak the swollen White River and have a birthday lunch (happy birthday Courtney!) with some really wonderful people. The river was an adventure with the accelerated current and all the obstacle trees, but the water, sun, and lush greenery was glorious and refreshing!

Tonight I received a goody box in the mail and sweet note from my mom (Sally). She makes the best healthy brownies and also gave me some new products to try, and a shirt from my sister-in-law's (Amber) dance academy. My baby brother included a penguin finger puppet for me, saying the traits of a male penguin reminded him of me.
My heart is happy, and I feel so grateful for so many things!
