I didn’t start doing any exercise until 2 days ago. Noticed that my shoulders hurt so much due to carry baby πŸ‘Ά (my little sweet burden) for a long time, I decided to do some shoulders straightening exercise on daily basis. I’m not sure from which day it’s ok to start as everybody is different and went thru different trauma during the labour. I started on day 10. It’s important not to feel strains/pains in your abdominal and pelvic floor as we are still recovering. Video is a bit long with one set only. I did 4 set with about 3mins rest in between.
1. Side lift x 10 + side circles (from and back) x 10. 2. Front lift x 10 + front circles (inward and outward) x 10. 3. Difficult to describe but as seen on vid x 10. It’s important not to arch your back but keep it neutral. I am carry a half kilo weight in each hand but this is optional or you could increase if with time. If you don’t have weights, worry not. Can just carry 2 bottles of mineral water. This exercise could be done with a resistant band as well if you have. For the warm up and cool down, I’ve also recorded some nice and simple exercises.
