Isn't it interesting how our first religious symbol was just a humble plea for universal equality (ek onkar means there's one god)
And our later religious symbol was an insignia made entirely of weapons (khanda literally means double edged sword, the kind of sword that is in the middle of the khanda design)
This perfectly sums up the Sikh blueprint. Equality and justice must predate everything. Then and only then are you capable of protecting what you must have protected. There are macro lessons all over Sikhi if you look hard enough.
