Kimchi Fried Rice w/ Chicken ๐Ÿณ

๐ŸŒถ ๐šƒ๐š‘๐šŠ๐š’ ๐šƒ๐š˜๐š– ๐šˆ๐šž๐š– ๐™ฒ๐š‘๐š’๐šŒ๐š”๐šŽ๐š— ๐ŸŒถ

๐Ÿ ๐…๐š๐ซ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š ๐•๐จ๐๐ค๐š ๐Ÿ

๐ˆ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup vodka (I used @alphabetvodka)
1 cup chicken stock
1 can crushed tomatoes (32oz)
Coarse salt & pepper
16 ounces of farfalle โ€œbow-tieโ€ pasta
1/2 cup heavy cream
20 fresh basil leaves, shredded or torn
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ:
1. Heat a large skillet over moderate heat. Add oil & garlic. Gently sautรฉ for 3 mins until fragrant. Add vodka to the pan. Reduce vodka by half, this will take about 3 mins. Add chicken stock & tomatoes. Bring sauce to a bubble & reduce heat to simmer. Season with salt & pepper.
2. While sauce simmers, cook pasta in salted boiling water until cooked to al dente.
3. Stir cream into sauce. When sauce returns to a bubble, remove it from heat. Drain pasta. Toss hot pasta with sauce, basil leaves & parmesan.
4. Garnish with fresh basil, parmesan & crushed red pepper flakes.
