On Friday 8th December 2017 at 6:30pm, Heva will be hosting the @collectiverw first #Nairobi pop-up at @tribehotel Presidential Suite in Village Market, Nairobi! It will feature the six amazing Rwanda-based brands who form the collective: @inzukidesigns (an accessory and interiors brand), @soniamugabo @hautebaso and @uzi_collections (3 womenswear brands), as well as 2 menswear brands, @houseoftayo and @moshions

Collective RW was founded in 2015 by 5 Rwandese fashion designers: Teta Isibo (Inzuki), Matthew Rugamba (House of Tayo), Sonia Mugabo (of the eponymous brand) and Linda Mukangoga with Candy Basomingera (Haute Baso) to support and promote a dynamic creative sector in Rwanda and the East African region. They were later joined by Moise Turahirwa (Moshions). There will be a wonderful array of mens and womenswear pieces, as well as accessories and interior decor pieces at the pop-up, showcasing the best in luxe Rwandese design. See you there! 😊

. @sholaamoo 'Dear Mr. Shakespeare' is a reinterpretation of Shakespeare's Othelo.
The film explores Shakespeare's intentions when writing Othelo, exploring the play's racial themes in a historical and contemporary setting and drawing wider parallels between imagination and blackness in the UK today.

@sholaamoo was commissioned by @britisharts to direct the reinterpretation written by Phoebe Boswell as part of "Shakespeare Lives'. Dear Mr. Shakespeare was selected in competition for the 2017 #SundanceFilFestival
Registrations for 'A moving Image' film screening are still on.

Premier alert!
On the 28th November 2017 we bring you British award - winning multimedia feature film by @sholaamoo 'A Moving Image' at @afnairobi at 7:30 pm.
In this #film, we follow Nina, a young stifled artist, as she returns to her community after a long absence - she is soon painted as a symbol of gentrification.
As she struggles with her own complicity, we follow her mission to create a piece of #art that can bring her community together. On her journey we speak to real people affected by gentrification in Brixton, blurring the line between reality and fiction.

Registration is free 😊
