On Sept 18th. 1944 Pfc. Arthur Jackson, along with the 1st Marine Devision was engaged in the bloody assault of Peleliu island. During the assault, Jackson’s unit came under heavy fire from a large Japanese bunker along their route. He alone, crawled ahead to engage. Once in range, he charged the pillbox, raking it with automatic fire while discharging white phosphorus grenades and other explosives. He was credited with killing all 35 occupants of the bunker. He then proceeded to then drag his massive balls to 11 other bunkers along the route and single handedly slayed all the occupants of each one. He was subsequently wounded both during the Peleliu campaign and again on Okinawa, for which he was awarded two Purple Hearts. On October 5th 1945, President Harry S. Truman bestowed the Medal of Honor to Jackson at the White House for the “...annihilation of the enemy in the southern sector of the island...” Now, you know you're a skullfucker when the word annihilation is somewhere in your resume. #stayzero #zerofoxtrot #ww2 #marines #skullfuckery

Brian Chontosh is one of my favorite heroes. Here is his Navy Cross Citation. If you know the name of any baby conceived by a Kardashian but don’t know about this dude you should go play in traffic. Or at least reconsider your priorities.
#
‘While leading his platoon north on Highway 1 toward Ad Diwaniyah, Chontosh’s platoon moved into a coordinated ambush of mortars, rocket propelled grenades and automatic weapons fire. With coalition tanks blocking the road ahead, he realized his platoon was caught in a kill zone.
#
He had his driver move the vehicle through a breach along his flank, where he was immediately taken under fire from an entrenched machine gun. Without hesitation, Chontosh ordered the driver to advance directly at the enemy position, enabling his .50 caliber machine gunner to silence the enemy.
#
He then directed his driver into the enemy trench, where he exited his vehicle and began to clear the trench with an M16A2 service rifle and 9 millimeter pistol. His ammunition depleted, Chontosh, with complete disregard for his safety, twice picked up discarded enemy rifles and continued his ferocious attack.
#
When a Marine following him found an enemy rocket propelled grenade launcher, Chontosh used it to destroy yet another group of enemy soldiers.
#
When his audacious attack ended, he had cleared over 200 meters of the enemy trench, killing more than 20 enemy soldiers and wounding several others.’
#
#
The fact that he didn’t receive a Medal of Honor blows my mind.
#
Brian Chontosh stands for something. Go follow him.

‘You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.’ - Harlan Ellison
#
I don’t really care if you don’t like prong collars. I’ll never force a client to use one. However I will educate you on the tool so that you can make an informed, educated decision instead of an emotional one.
#
Too often people use their emotions as a basis for how they treat or educate their dogs. Dogs need guidance from us. Different dogs require different ways of being communicated with. Just like human children that require different types of leadership from their parents and mentors.
#
Some children and dogs absolutely need a soft touch and a gentle way of being communicated to. Other kids and dogs will exploit your gentility as a weakness and take advantage of you at every turn.
#
Training dogs is not a one size fits all scenario and we use the proper amount of pressure for every dog we work with.
#
Prong collars are an excellent communication device for dog handlers and when used properly are not detrimental to the dog. They mimic the nipping of the dog by their mother or another dog. When dogs interact with one another they nip each other to educate young dogs on proper behavior. It is a natural way of communication amongst animals and the prong imitates a dogs natural way of communicating.
#
Malinois typically require a more firm communication from their handlers than other breeds. I do not shy away from showing prong collars on my dogs like many other trainers do out of fear of upsetting Joe Public.
#
Too many dogs suffer and end up in the pound because human emotions prevent them from being trained properly. I in no way endanger the safety of my dogs nor do I shock, beat, choke or abuse my animals in any way.
#
My dogs are my life and my livelihood. They neither fear me or take advantage of me. They are my equals on a team that I lead through clear communication. Anyone that knows me or my dogs knows the love and respect I have for my animals.

‘More than mere teachers, mentors are often emancipators, freeing artists from poor technique, clouded vision and personal uncertainty.’ - Paul Soderburg
#
Dogs benefit greatly from watching other dogs. That’s how they learn in nature and we do our best to give our clients dogs the best role models possible to learn the right way to do things.
#
Seeing another dog be stable and confident in stressful situations helps insecure dogs be more confident. Seeing another dog compete a feat of strength or agility give helps dogs trying a new task to understand what must be done and how exactly to complete the task.
#
Little Ezra spent a couple days with Hellen and made great strides in her obedience and stability the last couple of days.
#
It’s always a pleasure working with good people like @missdanimathers, @lamesause and their dogs.

Stevie is one of our new students. He’s a young Malinois mutt that was rescued by some great people.
#
Stevie and his handlers are learning proper fundamentals. Heeling, sitting, stay, off lead obedience and proper socialization and behavior in public.
#
You don’t have to have a dog that jumps out of planes or runs through fire to train with us. Our goal is improving dogs and their handlers regardless of breed or skill level.

“You know my mama wanted me to be a farmer.”

@jakeandfinndog came by to see us.

There are certain attributes you can’t train into a dog. Finn’s willingness to do work for his handler is phenomenal. The boy never met a ball, a treat or a tug. But he’d scale a building, run through fire and give his life for Jake.
/
I assure you that gameness on Finn’s level is bred not taught. You can’t make a cur dog a working dog anymore than you can make Finn a farmer.
/
Go watch the Natural. It gives me goosebumps every time.

Everything we do has an application no matter how limited in practical application as it may seem to certain people there are multiple reasons we run these types of exercises with our dogs.

I never told him he was a dog so he never thought climbing ladders was out of the question.
#
Littleman climbing ladders on his own. It requires belief that something can be done before you can do it. But believing is only a small part of the equation. Lots of folks believe that things can be done or that things are a certain way without putting their beliefs to the test. Many people have lost their lives or failed miserably at things because they "believed" that they had their shit in order.
#
We don't talk about what could be or what we believe can be done unless we can show you that it is in fact not only possible but happening before your eyes. The truth can be proven. Everything else is bullshit.

Krieger at 10 months old. When I got the call that there was a Malinois in Las Vegas that was going to be put down because his owners couldn’t deal with him I wanted to put them down instead.
#
It took us over 2 years to unfuck what had been done to him in the first 10 months of his life.
#
When I got him he couldn’t even walk down the street without attacking random plants next to the side walk. Cars, birds, anything that moves. Well... fucking anything at all was liable to be attacked. Including my Mozart statue. It was his arch enemy in the house. Anytime he saw it he’d freak and attack it.
#
But I always knew that in his heart he wanted to be a good boy. He challenged us to find creative solutions to all of his behavioral problems and rehabilitate his crazy ass to be the actual stable working dog that we knew he could be.
#
Last week he finally reached the point where we were confident that the lessons we taught him would stick and his new handler would have a good stable dog that would give his life for him.
#
@krieger_actual was instrumental in finishing what I started. He poured countless hours of hard work into this little crack head. It more than paid off.
#
I want to thank @samoanrattlr for committing to the proper education and training regiment required to own this breed of dog.
#
If you don’t know what you are getting educate yourself. We aren’t in he business of rescuing dogs. So if you don’t have the time or dedication to give to a working dog, don’t get one.
#
For everyone out there looking for a therapy dog or PTSD help dog..... MALINOIS ARE NOT THE RIGHT FUCKING DOG!!!!
#
If you don’t have PTSD and you want to ramp your anxiety levels up to the point where you will need professional mental help, then get a Malinois.
#
If you want a protection dog, you better have an actual threat to your personal safety if you want to own a Malinois. Don’t fool yourself. If your “Malinois” doesn’t require professional training it isn’t a fucking Malinois. They are bred to have an energy level and don’t fuck with me attitude for a reason. Just because they are beautiful and athletic doesn’t mean you should put one in your house.
