I still have my collection of hats don’t you worry! I haven’t grown it much in the past year but holy macaroni I did grow those quads 🤣😎! What’s my secret?

TIP 1️⃣ - Forget supplements, pills, wraps, powders and stacks and focus on FOOD
.
🥘 If you want to grow some curvy stems you gotta feed them! Not garbage food but nutrient dense deliciousness! THEN when you get that on point look to adding supplements into your regimen.. just don’t buy teas or wraps please 🤦🏽‍♀️

TIP 2️⃣ - Lift some heavy *ish AND do your cardio
.
💪🏽 Cardio alone will NOT grow the booty but it will reveal the booty gains made from lifting some heavy weights 😏. Each have their own function and when combined together in the right way you’ll see some stellar results 🍑.
.
TIP 3️⃣ - Patience grasshopper 🙏
.
Don’t rush the process, building muscle takes time so give yourself an adequate amount of time in a calorie surplus to really make some solid growth happen.. if you’re constantly in a deficit or at maintenance calories just to stay lean you’ll find it difficult to add the muscle needed to give you the curves you want!
.

They made it through a high intensity metabolic workout yesterday with running, squatting, lunging and all the -ings.

I may have been dead after 💀 but at least I looked good crawling out of the gym 😏

Energy doesn’t just come from within 💥

Just wanted to give you some perspective on my thoughts about energy.
.
Sometimes you feel super energetic, motivated and on top of the world right? And sometimes you feel completely opposite.. like 💩
.
We can attribute this to lots of things, lack of sleep, over training, our emotional and mental state.. but how often do you consider what’s going on AROUND you instead of WITHIN you?
.
Your environment can play a huge role in your energy levels. So can the people you allow within your environment 🤷🏽‍♀️
.
Think of a beehive for example, random I know but just entertain me 🐝..
.
If you and your bee friends set up shop in a field with no flowers 🌸 where are you going to get pollen for honey 🍯? If your bee friends are slacking and not contributing to the honeycomb how are you gonna eat? Are you going to be inspired to work hard if you’re struggling to find flowers and your friends are just coasting by on minimal work?
.
Probably not.
.
This may be the most random example to give but it’s legit AF 🤣.. with all this being said Deni and I just signed up for a new gym because we were tired of our old no pollen having field-gym and I’m happy to report after just two days I’m already feeling that a ton of honey gainz will be made here 🍯🤣💪🏽
.
Are you in a honey happy environment right now? If not what are you going to do to change that? The field isn’t going to magically grow flowers. Only YOU can make the choice to find a new field or start planting some 🌸 yourself.

Going into this improvement season I’ve set “macro” goals (not food related hear me out) and will set “micro” goals as the weeks pass.
.
What does this mean and why should you do it to?
.
MACRO goals are your big picture, the huge things you want to have accomplished by the end of a project, journey etc.
.
MICRO goals are the small steps that you’re taking each day to get to the macros
.
Just like with food 🥘, we focus mainly on macros but micros are just as if not more important.
.
Your macro goals should keep you driven and pushing to get sh*t done while your micros are the sh*t that needs to get done ✅ they hold you accountable and keep you on track to making the big picture a reality 🙏
.
In setting up your next goal in fitness and in life, plan out your main macros then figure out the micros that are going to get you there, you’ll feel much more clear about your vision and confident in your ability to tackle them all 💪🏽
.
Lastly keep in mind micros can change and that’s okay. Just like following google maps sometimes there are multiple ways to reach your destination, some are shorter some are longer it depends on the day and situation but ultimately as long as you get to the destination that’s what matters 💜
.

Before (Halloween many moons ago) 🎃
.
🤦🏽‍♀️ Believed weights would make me look “manly” and time in the club was more valuable than time in the gym
.
🤦🏽‍♀️ Figured the way to “being skinny” was just about eating less and would go through phases of crash dieting trying to get “bikini ready for summer”
.
🤦🏽‍♀️ Low self esteem and constantly picked myself apart, allowed myself to be taken for granted in relationships because I didn’t value myself enough
.
After (yah I know I’m STILL posting show day photos so sue me 🤣) 🧜🏽‍♀️
.
😃 I lift heavy and love feeling strong.. when people say don’t get too big I laugh and say if it were that easy I’d be a lot bigger 💪🏽
.
🤪 I macro hack the ish out of all my favorite foods and enjoy eating healthy AND having balance where and when appropriate (aka not during prep and I’m okay with it)
.
👸🏽 Though I sometimes forget (we all do at times) I know I’m a boss babe QUEEN capable of anything (we all are) and I’m in a loving marriage with a king that reminds me everyday just how amazing I am
.
Fitness doesn’t just change your looks it changes your LIFE. If you’re struggling to make the change just take the leap 🐸 of faith! What may seem like a sacrifice of good food and couch time will quickly turn into a passion to do better in all areas of your life. If you don’t believe me ask anyone who’s living an active lifestyle they’ll vouch for me 🙏☺️

My Advice: Be Your Own Bestieeeee

Now I’m not saying be a lone wolf 🐺 and have no friends.. I have some pretty freaking amazing friends!
.
What I mean to say is take note of how you treat your best friends. You are there to lift them up when they are down, celebrate wins together and give them a realistic kick in the ass when they need it right? I mean at least I hope so!
.
So why not do that for yourself too 🤷🏽‍♀️?
.
We are often our worst critics 🙅🏽‍♀️.. but we can just as easily let ourselves off the hook and justify things so we don’t feel bad about coming up short 🤦🏽‍♀️.
.
Our self talk reflects into our world 🌎 , so be careful how you speak to yourself 🤐. Think of yourself as your own best friend, you wouldn’t call your best friend fat.. ugly.. a failure or any of the negative things that run through your head when you’re down on yourself.. so don’t do it to yourself!
.
Keep this in mind as you go through today, be present and take note where you can improve your self talk.. and in time working on that will improve your life.. trust me I’m speaking from experience 💜
.

It was nice being all dolled up for a day! But the clock has struck 12 and this mermaid 🧜🏽‍♀️ princess 👸🏽 is back in her usual leggings and sweater ensemble with her hair in a messy bun 😂

At least I’ve got part of the spray tan to hold onto 😂 the leopard look is in this spring right 🤪🧐?

Definitely still holding some water from the weekend as my body balances out but I’m getting back into workouts, meal plans and my overall routine.
.
Post free meal or after a time that you fall off track etc can be a difficult time to manage through for anyone!
.
My two pieces of advice for these types of situations are: 1. Get back on track and 2. Don’t overthink or ruminate about it!
.
The longer you drag out getting back to consistency the more steps you have to take forwards again to get back to where you once were.
.
Ruminating or overthinking about what you ate, how fluffy you feel or how you “messed up” only makes it harder to get back on track! So don’t sweat it and just focus forward ⏩ stay zoned in on the next steps not the last few and use that to drive your progress and regain consistency.
.
It’s easier said than done at times and I’m the first to admit that but knowing these two keys to success and trying to really focus on them when needed does help me so I’m writing this hoping it helps some of you too!
