Here we go! For day 1 (Monday) #GetYourPropOn
Good ol’ Paul the Wall. 🙌🏻 I bring you handstand facing the wall. I remember when I first attempted this under the instruction of one of @catbradleyyoga challenges and I thought my heart would explode, my arms give in to a faceplant, I would topple over on my back and generally it was A BIG DEAL. It still makes me sweat but I now realise I won’t topple over and I found it has really helped my handstand strength and alignment. I still have a while to get my wrists to the skirting board but it’s something to work on. 😁

In the video you can see I literally lie my tummy on the wall before I straighten up and tuck my pelvis and all the general queues to get a straighter handstand. All work in progress here.
Also re exit - I cartwheel out but if you have enough energy walking out is probably more controlled.

For this challenge I’m digging out some of my favourite props and poses that I learnt off others on IG - two years into this daily practice and I’ve learnt so much so I can share and tag those that have inspired me.

Somehow I hoped to have a better pincha hold after all this shoulder torture but it continues to elude me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But!!! I learnt so much and I have a great shoulder routine to keep working on so thanks to all the hosts!!! 😘😘😘

It was interesting to feel the change in the stretch by rotating the extended foot in skandasana and as much as I try I just can get the foot flat on one side.
Bound triangle is soo hard on my hamstrings where my legs connects to the butt. I can just about straighten the leg but boy do I feel it! ・・・

Last day! Sorry I’m late. I was wiped yesterday! Sore from rocket yoga workshop, hungover from Sat night and sleep deprived from children! 🤣 I just couldn’t face lolasana 😆

Any sort of pressing or lowering was out of bounds for me but but but.... this was my longest hold on block... ever! Only about 5 seconds but I’ll take it!!! And run... 😂
