Chelsea Van  Welcome to the journey of what’s on my plate. It’s all about enjoying the finer things 🥑☕️ Geelong | AUS📍

Always nice to spice up your life a little bit with some Mexican! I love burrito bowls, I think they not only look amazing but also they are full of flavours. I find them to be quite filling. This is a fresh mexi-bowl from Feast in East Geelong! They have awesome meals to take away and great coffee too. They also have a range of yummy treats. I really enjoyed this to take away with a great view. I also tried the Vegan Honeycomb which is amazing, I can’t say that I lasted very long in my household!

My latest obsession would definitely have to be any place down the Newtown end of Pako! I have really been enjoying everything I have had at Winter’s. Everything has been spot on from service to food! Today I had to go back to try to poke bowl with salmon. This was really fresh and certainly hit the spot. I would definitely recommend.

Sorry it has been a long time since I have made a post but a lot has gone on. Hopefully I can be back to posting regularly again!

I went to suss out the all the fuss of the new cake bar in Geelong last night! It’s the perfect location with people lined up out the door. It looks much better than the rug store. I ordered the cake trio to share. I found that it was great value for money. I ordered the New York style cheesecake, Tim tam and the Kinda surprise! Out of the three I would say that the cheesecake was my favourite and I am not a real cheesecake fan unless it’s a raw cake. The Tim tam and the Kinda Surprise were a little disappointing, the two tasted quite similar with the only difference being the icing in the middle. It is a little confusing when you get there and there’s no one to direct you to either sit down or order first. The lovely girl who served us did a great job especially as it was her first day.

It is good to be back here in Bali. I was in need of something delicious and more on the healthy side. Smoothie bowls are my go to for a breakfast in the warm weather. I have been following this place for almost a year and had to check it out. I went to Nalu bowls which is a cute little smoothie bowl bar great for all your breakfast needs. You can go and sit up stairs and order from either the Shelter or Nalu bowls. It has a lovely atmosphere and he smoothie bowls are delicious. I had an Açai bowl which was nice and refreshing. I wanted to have a coffee but I was super full. I think I will have to go back.

It has been a busy past few days with the Melbourne Cup all happening, but I of course had time to sit down for some breakfast! I went to @brotherhen in Moonee Ponds not to far from where we were staying. I had the Bircher muesli which was very fresh and very filling. I grabbed a coffee to take with me after which I was in much need of.

Busy mornings are only bearable when coffee is involved!! Stopped by my favourite place for coffee @unclejacksoceangrove in Ocean Grove and headed to the beach. Coffee with a view, what more could you ask for!!

Stopped by @kingofthecastlecafe for lunch to celebrate the end of an era! After 13 years I have finally finished school which is incredible, yet also scary to think I have finished. I have never been one to enjoy school and had been so close to leaving a few too many times. My parents often told me to “Leave school and work full time at Maccas.” This managed to be enough keep me in school. I am so glad that I made it to year 12 and passed! After a crazy morning of “decorating” the school for Celebration Day I was super keen for something to eat. I had the mango smoothie bowl. I am so happy that we are heading into the warmer months because I do love the spring/ summer menu’s, and I have a great love for smoothie bowls. I can say that I fell in love with this smoothie bowl and it was one of my favourite smoothie bowls that I have had.

Can never beat a smashed avo! I love anyplace with a all day breakfast menu, it speaks to me! I finally stopped by 63 degrees, which I loved and I am keen to go back to! So many great options and great service.

A place that I've been eyeing off since arriving in the beautiful and sunny Noosa. It is a cute little health bar located on Hastings street. Definitely a great treat in the warm weather. I had the Blue Ocean bowl which has coconut and mint in it, two things I enjoy. It had a muesli in it as well and topped with some delicious fresh fruit. They have great coffee also, a place I would definitely recommend for something delicious and healthy to munch on.

After a busy day in prep for our pop up market in which the funds we raise will go towards #Projectlove and a haircut later. It was time to relax and grab a bite to eat! Caught up with a friend to try more of @thebackyardgeelong menu. A place that I always get excited about going to. There so many great options, good vibes and great staff. Today I tried the earth bowl with tofu and sesame dressing. It's something different to what I would usually have as I am the kind of person who could eat a breakfast meal at any time of the day. I can say I enjoyed this.

Let me tell you my obsession with @lady_rawsome_ vegan cheesecakes are real! I couldn't help stopping by Bear and Bean to have one, or miss out on having my coffee. At this stage in time it's been said in the news that there are health benefits, not that that's important because I love my coffee. It was great to be able to sit out in the sun in the courtyard as it was quite a nice day!

Stopped by The Backyard last week to suss out what's on their new menu!! I had the raspberry waffles with coconut ice cream which is great for anyone who is vegan or loves waffles!! I really loved the coconut ice cream on it as I don't eat a lot of dairy products myself. I really enjoyed this and can't wait to try what is on the rest of the menu!!
