*Long Post Alert*
This past weekend was one for the books. I competed in my very first bikini show at Choctawhatchee High School. I started this process at the beginning of January just to lose weight again. Mid April I decided to change gears and prep for a show. So I did just that.
9 weeks out from this show it was full speed ahead. It was not an easy process giving up my Saturday night cheat meals, but now looking back it was worth all the hard work. I can see where people say you can get addicted to this sport because that feeling on stage was like no other. Yes, you are being judge on your body, but a body you worked hard to achieve. You are able to be proud of all the hard work and dedication you put in. You did it no one else did it for you! On the flip side you have to sacrifice a lot such as date nights, family outings, and basically a social life. So in the end decide what makes you happy and go for it.
In my first show I walked away with: 🥇
🏆 1st in Military
1st in Short Bikini Novice
Overall Novice bikini
1st in short Bikini Open
I can not thank everyone who came out to support enough! It truly means the world to me to have each and everyone of y'alls support. Thank you for all the amazing messages I have been receiving the past two days. I am sorry in advanced for all the pictures to come. :) Also, who knows if another show is in the future right now I want to catch up on lost date nights and finding balance in maintaining/building on this physique and enjoying life. 😘😍
