Here is a healthy alternative to store bought mouthwash! Just 2 ingredients (EO's and water) that are safe and toxin-free, work well, and taste amazing! .
If you have a look at the ingredients in most store bought mouthwash you will find a long list of words that you can't pronounce (cetylpyridinium chloride, methacrylates, phosphate copolymer, PEG-40), along with alcohol, artificial sweetener, and food dye (FDandC blue #1 and green #3 anyone?)
No thank you! Just keep it simple and chemical free.
In a glass bottle add:

🌱10💧peppermint 🌱10💧tea tree (melaleuca)🌱5💧clove 🌱4💧cinnamon 🌱4💧myrrh .
Top with filtered water and shake before each use. Easy!

Our adrenals work overtime, particularly for us women! It's important to show your adrenals some love and one simple way is with this beautiful oil. Basil essential oil is very versatile. It is calming, anti-inflammatory and a wonderful support for adrenal fatigue.🌱
An easy way to use this is to add 2 drops to your drinking water 1-2 times a day. You can also use this oil topically by applying 1 drop to the bottoms of the feet or directly over the adrenal glands. Use a carrier oil if you have sensitive skin. I also love to diffuse 3 drops of basil along with wild orange. You could blend in any oil that you find calming though!🌱

We live in a stressed out world and so many people have chronically elevated cortisol levels. This happens when our 'fight or flight' response is activated far too often. It's no surprise that thyroid problems and adrenal fatigue are on the rise. Living in this continually stressed out state takes a huge toll on our health.
What is the opposite of fight or flight? It's known as 'rest and digest', when we are calm and the body is in a state of balance and equilibrium.
How can you activate this calm state more often? Many things help - slowing down and deep breathing, yoga, meditation, moderate exercise, eating nutrient dense foods, adequate rest. Also, essential oils!! Pure EO's are a great tool to help calm our central nervous system and balance that stressed out feeling. The key is finding the oils that work best for you and using them consistently, on a daily basis. A small amount used frequently will work so much better than a large amount used every once in a while.

🌱15 drops of each oil in a 10ml rollerball and top with fractionated coconut oil. Roll over thyroid (neck area just below the Adam's apple) or bottoms of feet, morning and night. Lemongrass and clove are hot oils. If you have particularly sensitive skin, dilute with more fractionated coconut oil when applied to neck, or only apply to bottoms of feet. 🌱

I'm a big fan of self care and that definitely includes detox baths! We live in a world with so many toxins, and anything we can do to lighten that load is beneficial, and necessary! I like to take 2 to 3 detox baths a week! It's also a great way to unwind, relax and clear your mind.🌿
I mix and match the oils that I use, but Rosemary and Juniper Berry are the two that I use most often. I love them for their powerful cleansing and detoxifying properties. They're also wonderfully calming and relaxing, and have a fresh, clean scent. 🌿
Here's what I do:
Add 5 drops of each oil to 1.5 cups of Epsom salts. Then stir this mixture along with 1 cup of aluminum free baking soda into a hot bath. Then I soak for 20 minutes, and that's it! Sometimes I like to add the doTERRA body wash for toxin free bubbles. Since I like the water HOT, I hydrate during and after the bath with ice cold water and 2 drops of grapefruit EO. So good!!🌿

We could all use some calm from time to time, right?! I use oils daily for emotional support because they work so incredibly well. It took me a while to warm up to the scent of vetiver, but now I love it's strong earthy, grounding aroma. This is an oil that allows for deep relaxation and stability. It is incredibly calming to our emotions and those feelings of being stressed out. Combined with lavender and serenity, you have a blend that will ease feelings of being frazzled and anxious. ✨
Combine 15 drops of each in a 10ml rollerball and top with fractionated coconut oil. Roll on bottoms of feet, temples and back of the neck throughout the day. This is also wonderful to wind down at bedtime. If you prefer to diffuse these three, just add 2 drops of each to the diffuser and let the calming begin!✨

A great way to calm the mind is to diffuse your oils. When the kids are hyper and everyone could use some chill, this is a great blend to put together. In fact, why wait, I always get one of my diffusers going as soon as we wake up, it sets the tone for the day. This is a great blend to put on as you get breakfast going. It smells amazing, and calm kids = happy mama!! A great way to start the day!☀️
I love these particular oils because they are uplifting, grounding and calming all at the same time. And who doesn't love citrus?! I diffuse something citrusy at some point everyday. The BEST!!🍊✨
