Though this is not in the category of a minimalist photo that I sooo love, I just gotta post this as I’m so proud of the circumstances behind this photo. For a tropical girl who lives with an average temperature of 30°C, sitting on a frozen lake at -41°C is certainly a feat. What’s the coldest you weather you have experienced?
This is the Yellowknife-Dettah Ice road in the Great Slave Lake, from January to March this turns into a frozen highway/ice road and an average of 479 vehicles pass daily. How cool is that (literally and metaphorically)
